Quick and good experience with much helpful Kaizen rental company

I recently rented a car from Kaizen Rent at Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport, and the entire experience was refreshingly smooth from start to finish.
After a long flight, the last thing anyone wants is complicated paperwork or long waiting times. Fortunately, the team at Kaizen Rent made the pickup process quick, efficient, and stress-free. The staff greeted me with a smile and immediately gave the impression that they genuinely cared about providing good service rather than simply processing another rental.

What stood out most was the professionalism and friendliness of the customer service team. Every question I had was answered clearly and patiently, and there was no pressure to purchase unnecessary extras. The staff took the time to explain the rental agreement, the vehicle features, and what to do in case of any issues during the rental period. It felt personal and honest, which is becoming increasingly rare these days.
The car itself was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as advertised. It was clear that Kaizen Rent takes pride in the condition of its fleet. The vehicle drove perfectly throughout my trip, giving me confidence whether I was exploring Gdańsk, driving along the Baltic coast, or visiting smaller towns in the region.

Returning the vehicle was just as easy as collecting it. The drop-off procedure was straightforward, and the staff remained friendly and professional until the very end. There were no unexpected charges, hidden surprises, or unnecessary complications.

Hi. I rented a car at Kraków Airport. I was informed that the fuel gauge was faulty, although it later turned out that this was not recorded in the vehicle handover report. I was assured that the fuel tank was full. The fuel gauge was indeed behaving abnormally, sometimes showing a range of 50 km and at other times 150 km. During my stay in Poland, I did not drive many kilometres, but for some reason I decided to fill the tank just before leaving for the airport.
It turned out that I had to add almost a full tank of fuel, which means that when the vehicle was handed over to me, there were only about 20 litres of fuel in the tank. At that point, the fuel gauge indicated a driving range of approximately 1,000 km.
I refuelled the car once again in Kraków just before returning it (about 5 litres), and the gauge still showed a range of 1,000 km. This made me quite upset because it demonstrated that when the fuel tank was actually full, the gauge was not behaving erratically.
I submitted a formal complaint and requested a written explanation of the situation, as well as financial compensation. Unfortunately, I was not offered full reimbursement of my costs, and the explanation I received was completely illogical. I was informed that an internal investigation had been carried out. According to the findings, an employee filled the tank to full just before the vehicle was handed over to me and reported that the fuel gauge was faulty to his supervisor. It was then assumed that everything was in order.
Based on that explanation, the only conclusion would seem to be that the fuel somehow evaporated. How else can it be explained? To summarise this whole experience, a single rental resulted in two separate disappointments. I was provided with a vehicle that was not fully functional, which I unfortunately agreed to accept based on the assurances I was given. Furthermore, the customer service I received afterwards was entirely unhelpful and failed to address my concerns in a satisfactory manner.

This was our fourth car hire from this company and as always great service with quality vehicle. The car was picked from Katowice Airport branch, where the staff was very helpful and efficient. Great communication with local representative who talked us through the car we borrowed and we weren't waiting around for ages which was a plus. The drop off at the Gdansk Airport was straight forward too. No issues with final checks nor deposit refund. Very helpful call centre with some additional information regarding the car hire. Would definitely use Kaizen Rent again.

Myself and wife have used Kaizen rent from both Gdansk and Warsaw Chopin airports numerous times and have to say they are great and I highly recommend them.

We have been hiring cars for years and have had some great and very poor experiences from different car hire companies from around the world, the two WORST have been Flex and Wheego, both based in Poland.

Kaizen pricing is very competitive, there’s no forced upselling to buy their insurance or made up damage to the cars if you don’t buy their insurance, like with Flex or Wheego (incidentally, I would choose any other car hire company over these two and if these are the last two available, just walk).

The cars have always been clean, new, in great condition with everything working, super polite and very efficient staff and no long waits even when they’re busy.

Just an all round good experience and one you would expect from any car hire company.

Kaizen Rent charges customers for every tiny scratch as if it were painting the entire item. It's a scam. I won't be using it again.

Disappointed, I've rent a car all dented around and foulty suspension, next day I've contacted with customer service and after few hours I exchange the car to another one but also the car was old with mileage and overall dented etc .Not happy at all ...

Good location of the desk in Krakow Airport. Friendly staff, everything explained in very details. They gave a SUV while my booking for the economy class. Perfect condition of the car, all needed extras. Easy drop-off.
