Kale and Damson Reviews 

I have been having weekly deliveries from K&D since the beginning of lockdown. I had been unable to get a supermarket slot so I was very grateful that they began to do household deliveries, although they were unknown to me before that. They have a wonderful, comprehensive selection of goods - fruit and veg, meat and dairy, plus lots of other essentials. All very good quality and much locally sourced. If I have reason to get in touch with them I can always get through straight away on the phone and am answered by a very friendly person who goes out of their way to put right anything amiss immediately - with profuse apologies and by arranging a refund or replacement. The delivery drivers, too, are cheerful and friendly and take time to have a quick chat. I am happy to recommend them wholeheartedly and I hope to continue receiving their excellent service even when things get back to 'normal'.

We are delighted with the quality of Kale & Damson's suppliers... meat, vegetables, fruit, cheese, dairy and other fine products. The website makes it easy to order and cut off / delivery dates are clear. Delivery is dependable. So happy that they now sell directly to the consumer (they've been doing this since lockdown). Hope they keep it up when things stablilise as we don't think we can go back to supermarket fruit & veg! :)

Kale and Damson delivered to my Hotel at very short notice after our normal supplier let us down. The quality of the food delivered was exceptional and I hope to now use them more regularly. They epitomise what a great local supplier can do and have laid down a serious gauntlet to our incumbant supplier. Well done team!

We started ordering from Kale & Damson when lockdown hit in March, and have no intention of stopping. Quality produce, swiftly delivered. Nothing not to like.

Been ordering once or twice a week for a few months. Great quality and service. Price us comparable with supermarket and generally quality is better. A good overall range and always a nice amount of local stuff available.

We use the delivery service since May based on recommendation of our neighbours . Since than we order weekly at least, by now completely substituted shopping in the supermarket for fruits and vegetables. Service and product are first class, I can only hope that household deliveries will remain a long term service even after all restaurants return to full scale.

We have ordered three times from Kale and Damson since April and are impressed with the freshness and quality of the produce. Delivery has been on time each time, with everything laid out in cardboard boxes, easy to see and without excess plastic.

First class! Fantastic produce at a very fair price with quick door to door delivery. It's been a real lifeline as an isolating household during lockdown. Going to continue using them as things return to normal, friendly service and amazing quality. Highly recommended!
