When you look at the website, the lanterns are large and clear. When you actually see the product, it's about 1/4 the size and it's made of frosted plastic. It does not match the ad. They did give me a refund, but would not acknowledge that their descriptions were inaccurate.

Would give zero stars if I could. Fraudulent social advertising. The products are nothing like what is pictured. They offer money back guarantees - but the fine print says you're responsible for the shipping costs...to China. It would cost me over $200 to ship back the garbage I paid $70 for. The size and quality are NOTHING like what they advertise. STAY AWAY. Reporting this company to the BBB and every site I can find.

The goods delivered are different from those sold in the pictures. The Kaliqo™ Solar Lantern Outdoor Lights ordered are approx. 25x25x35cm in the picture compared to the person holding them. What I received was not even half that size, approx. 10x10x20cm, and with milky glass instead of clear glass. When I asked about it, they just replied with the dimensions of what they had sent and did not address the discrepancy between the picture and the actual product. If you then want to return the item, customer service makes it as difficult as possible for the customer at every turn. All the communicated benefits of buyer protection are useless if you treat customers like this and reply that they can send the item back from Germany to the US at their own expense. They would then process the return after receipt and according to their own guidelines. I can already imagine where that will lead. In the end, I'll be arguing about a refund for improper return shipping, and before that, I'll be chasing the shipment tracking until the goods have traveled halfway around the world again, hoping that they will arrive.

These lights are horrible. They do not charge with sunlight and only work if you turn on manually. False advertising! RIP off. Do NOT buy these lights.

The lanterns are not what is pictured, they are 1/4 the size and come from China. Having them arrive took longer than expected. Prior to ordering, I looked at the return policy and the product was to be returned in southern California and assumed they would be shipping from.....I assumed wrong. Very deceptive with the end product in regards to the size. Ordered 9/17 and arrived 9/26.

Please read actual reviews, not on their website!!!Total thieves! I paid nearly $150 for 4 lanterns, expecting them to be as advertised on their website. The lanterns look almost as big as a basketball. What I receivex were 4 plastic 5 inch lanterns! I was so angry with myself for not researching first. I contacted them with my complaint and they stated I could return them to an address in China, though the return address on the actual package was in Palo Alto, California. They stated that they dont process returns at that address.
So I was told to ship them USPS to China and then send them a copy of the shipping receipt and tracking number. I think they never figured I would do it. I DID! It cost me $48!!!! So I sent the tracking info to them and now waiting to see if they are going to refund my money! CROOKS!!!! Update....I received an email stating my refund would be $139.96. Now I wait and see.

Paid $139 and was very poor quality and not at all as advertised. DO NOT purchase. Cost to ship back $130. DO NOT purchase

If I could give zero stars that's what I would give. Their advertising is more than misleading and what they charge for pieces of plastic junk is disgusting. When I sent them an email about it and wanting a refund for the 4 lanterns I purchased for $139, they told me that their advertising is not misleading but they were willing to give me a 50% refund and I can keep the lights. I demanded a full refund and if I do not get it I will be submitting a dispute with my credit card company. Do not buy these!!!

They claim that items will ship in one to two days but my Item is still in CHINA after almost two weeks. If it ever makes it to me I will instantly return for a full refund. Very deceptive seller. Never ever buy anything from CHINA!

The emails and website from this company use extremely deceptive photos to imply the lanterns are much larger than in reality. Unless you carefully read the entire website you overlook where the measurements are given. Also, rather than being clear, as the photos indicate, the “glass” is frosted. When you consider the actual size of the lanterns, they are outrageously priced. I found after receiving them these are also available on Amazon, and the ratings there basically say the same thing. I also saw the cost of returning them is ridiculously high. If this company were to be honest with their advertising, and price these more reasonably, then I would actually like my purchase. At this point they are bright and stay lit all night as advertised. I just wish I could receive a refund due to the deceptive practices of this company.

I purchased lanterns from Kaliqo that were falsely advertised on their website. The product I received looked nothing like what was pictured or described. To make matters worse, when I reached out for a refund, they required me to pay $15 just to return an item that was misrepresented. Any reputable company would cover return shipping in cases of false advertising, but Kaliqo refused.

The entire experience felt dishonest and frustrating. The product was not as promised, the customer service was unhelpful, and I was left covering costs for their mistake.

I would NOT recommend purchasing from Kaliqo. Be cautious—what you see on their site will not be what you actually receive.

This is a complete scam. Not as pictured. The item is the size of a can of soda, has frosted plastic (not clear) so you cannot even see the flame. Not worth the $69. I contacted the company and they want me to pay to return it to China. It is an auto response because I keep receiving the same message back when I try to reach them. BEWARE!

Do not go near this company. I bought two solar lights which cost me £50. They gave wrong measurements and the lamps were tiny. They looked like cheap tat when they arrived and one of them didn’t work. I asked for a replacement and had to send videos which still wasn’t enough for them. Wanted me to send it via wetransfer but never advised me of this when requesting video. I have never heard of wetransfer and my trust in this company was rapidly waning. Under no circumstances was I downloading a site and putting my video on it. I have since requested a refund but honestly don’t expect to see my £50 back. A total scam do not go near this company.

Scammers no delivery after 3 weeks and supportadress is not existing anymore.
Liars and betrayers

I should have read the reviews on Truspilot before ordering. Didn't receive the product I ordered. The lantern is all plastic, frosted though I ordered clear and quite small in size. expensive for what it is.

Very disappointed with the products - website shows much larger then item really is - false advertising… true measurements are hard to find. You can buy these items at the dollar store - same quality….

I was very disappointed when I opened the package and saw how small the entrance were. I wanted to return them. It was gonna cost me less half of what I paid for them. The company was not very receptive to getting them back and I would not purchase from this company again. They also had a buy to get two sale and this is what I purchased, but I only received two and they would not send the other two.
