My daughter has ASD and had a great deal of difficulty with her sleep for a number of years, frequently waking up in the night which made her [and me] almost constantly tired. I learned about weighted blankets and after a lot of research chose Kalmkoala. Their weighted blanket and then later the new bamboo sheets have made a life-changing difference for us both.

I bought the blanket. It is definitely weighty, which I like. The issue is that the weight is very easy to be to one side and is not even. It is fiddly to make it even. Otherwise I would give 5 stars. Great service. .

I bought a weighted blanket for my son who has ASD - it has changed our lives. The deep pressure is so calming to him. He sleeps better at night and even snuggles under it in the day when he’s feeling overwhelmed. The covers wash well and the blanket survived being vomited on and the subsequent clean up. I did lots of research before buying, as they’re not cheap, but this was worth every penny!

I bought a weighted blanket after much research. I absolutely love it. It's warm in the winter and strangely cool in the summer. I'm currently refurbishing my bedroom and haven't had my blanket to hand and have noticed a decline in my quality of sleep.

I've had the blanket for a number of months now and it continues to sooth and relax me. Now that winter is on its way I am looking forward to snuggling down under it and drifting off on a Sunday afternoon in my favourite arm chair.

I had been researching weighted blankets as I have fibromyalgia, I chose this product as it wash washable and covered with bamboo material, what wonderful night sleep I have had , my husband loves it too despite for me .

I bought a weighted blanket from Kalm Koala last winter. It is the largest (fits across my king size bed) and most value for money weighted blanket I have come across in all my years working with people who benefit from this type of sensory input as much as myself. Getting into bed is like receiving the biggest warmest cuddle and I fall asleep in minutes. I’ve struggled with sleep for many years which has affected my day to day life but this blanket has been life changing. I would strongly recommend! And to those who are new to this type of sensory stimulation; have an open mind! It really can work!

When I purchased the weighted blanket for my son, I was optimistic at best. We have always had issues with bedtime, not just getting to sleep, but staying asleep. So, over the years we have tried many different tips, tricks and methods.
Hand-on-heart, the best purchase I have ever made. I would say, I wish I'd bought it sooner, but if I did, I would probably not have the appreciation for it that I have now, for the positive impact it has had.

For the purpose of fairness, and balance, I have to say, my daughter, who luckily has no problem sleeping, finds it claustrophobic and doesn't enjoy the sensation at all.
So I will say, there is definitely an element of personal preference as to whether they work or not.

I bought a weighted blanket from another provider (I know!) couldn’t get on with it, I think it was too heavy. I bought a KalmKoala because of great reviews and because I was sure I would feel the benefit. So glad I did, my quality of sleep has improved no end and I feel so much better in myself
