Customer service does not exist with this company

If there was an option for no stars I would give it. I just ordered a Kamadojoe and already regretting it. Seconds after I ordered it I asked them to amend the order to obtain the package of grills or cancel the order and I would re order it. Took them days to get back to me and the only response was that the product will be shipped in 14-21 days. After more days I then went to social media to get a response as to why they did not even respond and their only answer was that the order has been processed and they could do nothing to change it. Just wanted me to buy more and all I wanted to do at this point was cancel the whole thing as if this is how they treat a new customer I cannot imagine having and issue with it. Fine print says that shipping of returns are the customers responsibility so I can't even return it if it ever gets here. I should have stuck to Weber or any other company as this company is clearly just out to get you put it in your Visa and be done with you. Should be illegal to treat customers this way

Their lifetime warranty is bull

Their lifetime warranty is bull. Like most of these they will find a way to give you the runaround until you will just give up. My ceramic inner bowl cracked and they expected me to have a receipt of purchase for 10 years before. Don’t buy kamato for their warranty.

I can’t recommend this brand enough

I can’t recommend this brand enough! Not only is the product outstanding but to top it off the customer service is incredible. Just be kind and truthful with any issues you might have. From my experience they go above and beyond to rectify the situation. Thanks so much Kamado Joe I'm team red for life!

Worst purchase ever

Ordered a $3,000 Kamado, received defective, burn my hands twice trying to catch the top vent, tried for weeks to get a hold of somebody, only to be told to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer basically wants to send me part so I can fix and brand new $3,000 grill. Not only do I not know how to fix grills I’m not interested in learning. Tried to reach bbq guys again with no reply. Now I’m stuck with a brand new $3,000 Kamado that doesn’t work properly and it’s a safety risk. Save your move. By American made and stay away from Kamado Joe made in China crap and bbq guys horrible customer service. I’ll be contacting my attorney

They try to avoid warranty claims.

Kamado Joe doesn’t honor thier warranty on fireboxes. They told me I’d have to purchase the new firebox that is sold in pieces and the new base and cap as well, it was pretty much a “sorry you’re out of luck” response from them. Only after numerous back and forth emails complaining did they reluctantly say that they spoke to “higher ups” and they could do a one time exception. Why is this an exception? I did not accept as I do not want to be a customer of a company that dodges warranty promises like this. Buyer beware.
