I've had an overall excellent experience with this service. They provide quick and efficient replies to inquiries, which I really appreciated, and the delivery process is impressively swift. The product itself is of excellent quality—extremely sharp and well-crafted. The knives arrived packaged securely, although one of the knife boxes had a broken hinge upon arrival, which felt flimsy considering the value of the knives.

The website is user-friendly and easy to navigate, making the purchasing process straightforward. However, there is a notable downside—unexpected customs and shipping charges that arise after the purchase is completed. Unfortunately, these additional costs aren't communicated upfront, leaving customers with the dilemma of either paying them or risking not receiving their order. While the quality of service and product is commendable, clearer communication about hidden costs or a more transparent breakdown of charges would significantly enhance the overall customer experience.

I had bought a Kanpeki knives set from Kamikoto in 2018. Absolutely beautiful and superb quality.
The knives set was stored in the original wooden box in my home country for a few years as I was living abroad. When I recently opened the box, the black handles of the knives have white spots. I tried to wash it thoroughly but the spots remained. When I emailed to Kamikoto to enquire what I can do, Kamikoto just asked for the invoice details and immediately offered to send me a new set. No further questions asked. I was kept in the loop in the entire delivery steps. Wow!
This is a true customer centric company. It honored its promise of the limited lifetime warranty as well as providing great communication to the customers.

Knife delivered within 2 weeks. Outstanding!!!

They did not send the documents that was needed to the customs. I had to write to them to ask them to send it to me, so I could send them to the customs.
And that is nothing you should have to do as a customer.
But I got the papers the day after I requested them. So that was positive.

I really like Kamikoto knives. Kamikoto knives are reliable, very sharp and komfortable in the hand!

Having a dealer in Canada would have saved me the unexpected and costly import duty. I purchased from you a few years ago and I do t recall being hit with this tax on delivery.

These knives are beautiful and appear to be very good quality as well as being scary sharp. How well they'll hold an edge, and how difficult it will be to sharpen them with the unique blade design is where I'll reserve my final review on how much I like them. As of now I'm enjoying them quite a bit.
