Purchased a small lot of wine…

Purchased a small lot of wine consisting of bottles described as "sealed." Telephone conversation confirmed "sealed" and "properly stored." 1973 Dom Perignon represented 90% of $812 lot value. Bottle delivered unsealed with contents well below the neck. Obvious to anyone writing an auction description. Requested fair credit or return of all if credit not agreed. Kaminski's offered neither...and filed a complaint with Invaluable, despite being fully paid and themselves the bad actor! Will be filing a small claims action if no satisfaction received.

Be care full with this auction house

Be care full with this auction house, they will try to jack up your absentee bid if they can. I had a bid thru Invaluable bidding platform on a rug for a maximum of $ 6,000.00. After the auction I was notified that I was successful bidder. Fortunately Invaluable publishes their bid history. I noticed that the auction house had accepted 2 other bids above my maximum bid and once they realized that I am no longer bidding they retracted the other bids and gave the item to me.

Unfortunately all on line bidding platforms allow auction houses to retract bids which basically means that dishonest auction houses can know your maximum bid. So when ever you see that you have the successful bidder on your maximum amount of your bid ask for the bid history to know if the auction house has jacked you up or not.
