Thank you Kandala Travels for all your efforts and support with our Scotland trip. We did enjoy every minute of our 7 day trip. Firstly the 9-seater van was in excellent condition and was very comfortable. The tour guide, Mr. Kamaljit SIngh ji, was much more friendly and helpful than anything else in the tour. Mr. Kamaljit Singh ji was very polite, considerate and helpful at all times. The accommodation at all stops was clean, neat and comfortable. The food served as per the itinerary was also very good and delicious. We missed a couple of attractions, but that was entirely due to our time keeping. Overall we enjoyed the trip in every bit and will surely recommend to family and friends. Lastly but by no means the least, we appreciate the time and efforts put in by Deepu to make our trip a grand success. Thank you.
Scotland tour 3days/2nights experience was good, love the trip and sightseeing.
Thanks for arranging the trip to Devon and Cornwall for 3 days as private tours. We really enjoyed the trip. Although, visiting the places in the itenary , we felt like we were rushed and in a hurry. We needed more time to explore the places. Maximum time we got for each place is like 1 Hour. Accommodation in Leonardo Hotel Plymouth was extremely a remarkable experience with complimentary breakfast included. But for the dinner I think seats could have been reserved for the entire group in one table instead of separate tables. The food was really good, but it was a long wait for food and water.

I did a last minute booking for the 3 days glimpse of Scotland trip and was one of the worst mistakes i did in a long time! First of all they wanted me to pay adult fare for my 12 year old child and with extreme difficulty and persuasion they considered as child with bed! They are saying 12 year is adult everywhere and ofcourse they had to pay only child ticket for her everywhere!
Pros: The hotel we stayed in Glasgow was alright and the Ben Nevis cable car experience was good! The dinner was good for one night and visited the Harry Potter bridge!
Cons: The trip wasn't well timed or planned seamlessly! Most of the time was spend on looking for way to get a parking or waiting for the tour admin to get tickets! And when we go to any places we were given just 5 mins or 15 mins and rushed without sometimes even seeing what we paid for, especially at the Edinburgh castle! And he even says that we will be left behind if we are late but we have waited for the admins to come back on bus for half hour plus! We missed few spots even though it wasn't really our mistake it was put on the people travelling!
In addition I had bad experience trying to cancel as my daughter got unwell and they have policy of taking all money if it's a day before! After much talking the director was okay to give as much he can but he mentioned he had less passengers that trip and will consider if anyone can be replaced! I didn't want to loose such a huge amount! Later morning I got a mail asking for medical certificate for any reimbursement and they know we don't have that for sickness a while back! So basically they tacticallly didn't want to reimburse! And more over the main thing that I hated was personally making us feel bad for sales persons time talking to me which basically was to consider a child as a child! Their integrity is pretty bad in my experience even though they hit some booking they did not help! And yes he even collected 1£ each for the Harry Potter bridge visit!(felt very petty)
So if you have option to travel on your own or friends place to stay or travel with always consider that option if freedom of time to see and enjoy the place is priority along with saving some money!
I am writing a detailed review as others don't get into trouble and loose if this not what they are looking for!

Recently we picked kandala travels for a 3 day Scotland trip from 24th Aug to 26th Aug , we had a horrible experience with Bus amenities
Air conditioning inside the bus is stopped working from 2nd day of the trip for back half of the bus and we felt suffocated and nauseous through out the trip
Toilet inside the bus was smelling very bad throughout the trip which is added to the lack of air condition
Bus driver was rude and he was rushing and scolding the passengers throughout the bus for later coming into bus for few minutes . We were travelling with our aged in-laws so they had to rush all the time for toilet breaks.
Food experience: breakfast provided are not indian and have very less options for vegetarians
We were given 30 mins time for picking lunch all the days and 10 min toilet break which was hard to meet this timelines if queues are very big
We didn't had a proper lunch for 3 days and we travelled with our 3 year old kid who became cranky because of lack of proper food
Dinner : first day dinner was ok but the second day we were taken to a new restaurant around 10 that restaurant was packed with other bus tourists (3 bus people) we had to wait till 11 and queues are very big and bale to eta around 11:30 and most of the food items are finished we adjusted with remainings
No shopping time for souvenirs long hours journey without air conditioners
In conclusion, I would strongly advise against booking any tours with Kandala Travels. It was a thoroughly disappointing and frustrating experience, and I believe it would be a grave mistake to entrust them with your vacation plans. Save yourself the energy and frustration and look elsewhere for a more enjoyable and relaxing travel experience. Kandala Travels is a big NO
I took 4 days Scotland trip and it was very good experience with kandala travel. Hotel accomodations and Restaurants selected are too good. We covered all your itinerary. Fortunately weather was good to explore Scottish high lands. Also we covered Lake district, Glasgow, Edinburgh city.
One down side of the tour I felt was timing. It was struggle to follow timing throughout the tour.
Overall I was good experience and would recommend this tour.
Special Thanks to Pramod who leaded and guided the tour very efficiently as he could. He provided all the information about each tourist spots. Glengoyne Distillery visit he managed was very good experience

We are very happy with the way Kandala travels arranged the Cornwall & Devon trip for us in the Easter weekend few days back. Below are the points that are recognized and highly appreciated.
1. Our hotel accomodation was upgraded to a 3-star hotel and the rooms were very comfortable, hygienic and clean. Hotel staff was very supportive.
2. We also enjoyed the hot breakfast arranged for our tour when cold breakfast was initially planned.
3. We also got a chance to stop and see the iconic Stonehenge which was not in the itenary, so was a very pleasant surprise to all of us.

Overall Experience was very good !!
We recently made a trip to Devon and Cornwall, we really have had an good arrangements through travels, with 3 star hotel and indian dinner. Driver and tour leader was good and supportive to the customers and especially helping them when needed. But this time he was very friendly and suggestive. On the way back driver and tour leader also covered Stonehenge which was not in the itenary. I would definitely recommend this travels to friends and families.
Need's Tweaking:
This time dinner was arranged with one of the srilankan restaurant, food was okay, which couldn't match our taste buds. But last time when I made a trip with kandala travels food was really good, we were expecting something similar.

Kandala Travel is a joke company. They do not read the travel brief you give them. You advise them and they come back with more mistakes. Eventually, I found a return flight which suited me. Only then did they indicate I had a booking.
The next issue was after paying electronically, they emailed to say my payment had not arrived. I checked with my bank, and the payment had been made, despite their scam alerts, which I overrode. Kandala Travel's accounts dept never once picked up my calls.
Then I spent almost 2 hours chasing a booking reference or e-tickets. Promised return calls were not forthcoming. Twice I was put through to Himanshu, only to get a voice mail! Same story when 'put through' to the manager!
Now, 1 hour 10 minutes (!!!) from take-off, they email to tell me they will email tickets in 5 minutes. How can I get to the airport, clear security and board an Amsterdam flight with that schedule?

We are trying to get to Odda in Norway (between Bergen and Oslo) for a music event this coming weekend. Specific timings are 8pm local time Friday night and 11am Saturday. To add to the complexity, I need to be back, not to Glasgow, but to Liverpool by 1pm on Sunday.
Either 2, or 4 people (TBC before you close tonight) will be travelling from Glasgow, returning here, although, as indicated, I will return via Liverpool (probably on Monday). We could travel Thursday evening or Friday early, returning either Saturday evening/Sunday morning, as indicated. Accommodation also required as necessary.

The entire tour was well planned and executed. All the view points included in the iternary plan are covered.
Surprisingly we were also taken to Harry Potter Scenic Train which was not part of iternary plan.
The tour manager Mr.Ruthresh was very patient and informative. The accommodation in Glasgow was good and the indian food(for dinner) was excellent.
Overall a super trip, worth the money spent.

I recently embarked on a trip with Kandala Travels to Cornwall and Devon from the 26th to the 28th of August, and I must say it was one of the most subpar travel experiences I have ever had. Here's a rundown of the myriad disappointments we encountered:
1. **Lack of Basic Amenities**: The journey began with disappointment as the bus lacked even the most basic amenities. There was no WiFi, no refreshments or water facility, and no toilets on the coach. For a modern travel agency, this is simply unacceptable.
2. **Inept Tour Manager**: Instead of a knowledgeable tour guide, we were stuck with a tour manager who had no clue how to guide us or manage the group. He failed miserably in ensuring that the trip adhered to the promised timings.
3. **Unreliable Itinerary**: The itinerary was a complete mess. It kept changing without any explanation or consultation. Promised destinations like Torquay were replaced with Plymouth, and the highlight for some, Minack's Theatre, was entirely skipped. Instead of Newquay beaches, we were taken to Tintagel Castle, a place not mentioned in the original itinerary.
4. **Rushed Sightseeing**: The majority of our time was spent on the coach, and when we finally reached our destinations, we were given a mere 1-1.5 hours to explore before being rushed back to the bus. Even meal times were restricted to a paltry 30 minutes.
5. **Incompetent Tour Manager and Commentary**: The tour manager displayed a shocking lack of knowledge about the places we visited and provided minimal entertainment or information during the journey. The commentary was nonexistent, leaving us feeling completely in the dark about the sites we passed.
6. **Dreadful Dining Experience**: One of the low points of the trip was the dinner at Cinnamon Gardens, Plymouth. We were treated rudely, the food was of poor quality and excessively oily, and there was no distinction between vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Utensils were unclean, and we had to repeatedly request basic items like spoons and tissues.
Their behavior was far from accommodating, making us feel unwelcome from the moment we stepped in. This was in stark contrast to the treatment provided to another group, the supposedly prestigious "Star Tour" group, who were received with politeness and humility.
To add insult to injury, the manager of the restaurant imposed a strict 30-minute time limit on our dinner, essentially rushing us through the meal. This abrupt approach was justified by the impending arrival of the "Star Tour" group, but it only made us feel like second-class citizens or, worse yet, beggars.
7. **Pickup and Drop Point Hassles**: Although our pickup experience was punctual and smooth, the promised drop-off points evolved into a harrowing ordeal. The tour manager, to our dismay, conveyed that the driver couldn't continue due to his working hours being exhausted. Regrettably, the travel agency displayed a shocking lack of preparedness by failing to arrange an alternative driver or vehicle to ensure our safe return.
This situation forced us to escalate matters considerably. Our group had to engage in a protracted battle, resorting to emails as our calls to Mr. Pramod remained unanswered, compounding our frustration. It was only when we were compelled to mention the possibility of involving the authorities, specifically the police, that the travel agency finally took action to provide the appropriate and necessary arrangements.
8. **The Sole Bright Spot**: The only positive aspect of the tour was the driver, who drove safely throughout the trip.
In conclusion, I would strongly advise against booking any tours with Kandala Travels. It was a thoroughly disappointing and frustrating experience, and I believe it would be a grave mistake to entrust them with your vacation plans. Save yourself the energy and frustration and look elsewhere for a more enjoyable and relaxing travel experience. Kandala Travels is a big NO.
Update:
I booked my ticket a week before on 18 Aug 2023. The itinerary I received differed from others, and we were only informed of changes by the tour manager when the trip commenced, with no prior notice. We weren't told that the tour leader was only responsible for operations and not guiding.
I can't say for others but my group didn't abuse the operational tour leader, but we felt helpless as management decisions were opaque.
My group was punctual but had to wait 1.5 hours for latecomers.
We weren't informed that the Indian buffet was high in demand. The restaurant's pressure didn't justify rude behaviour.
We were dropped at Wembley Tower instead of CT stop, we took the bus on our own and didn't took the cab facility which was provided only after causing us stress for 2 hours without any apologies.

We were directed into wrong direction and then they told that the main arch got washed away last month which was the most stupidest thing to say by someone in the profession. We had limited time of only an hour due to mismanagement by the staff and couldnt explore the location entirely.
They did not even admit to their mistakes and were covering up for their staff.
Decide to never take their services again and would not recommend anyone to take.
