London Kare Plus - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

They have no idea what person centred care is. Your loved one is just a £ sign to them.

Carers are paid minimum wage, are not experienced and given impossible travel schedules. They also don’t get paid for travel.

This company is only about money and no local authority should give them hospital discharge contracts.

Missed medication x 3 in 5 days.

Medication not on company app for carers after 7 days

Some Carers do not or cannot read simple instructions

Lacking communication and common sense

Wet clothes left in washing machine - family not notified

Office Coordinators don’t take complaints seriously and are bordering on rude when things are flagged

Horrendous experience every day so far since care started on 6/2/25

These people should not be in business. The level of care is absolutely shocking. All they are interested in is making money. The majority of the “carers” they employ can barely speak English and just want to get in and out of the house as quickly as they can. My advice DO NOT USE!

How this company have been deemed fit for purpose to provide care is frankly astonishing. They shouldn't be operating and I'm staggered that the county council outsource work to them.
The staff are not qualified, not a cultural fit and their treatment is tantamount to bullying and intimidation

This is the best company that value employees concerns.

They claim to be a company dedicated to caring for people, yet do not even pay their employees some of whom are mothers and providers for their own families. No bonus bank holiday pay. Wages not paid on time. This company's practices should be investigated.

I don't even know where to begin. Kare Plus in Preston is the branch and it is run by bullies of the highest. They have pushed all their long serving, experienced and trained staff out as they can't control them like the new and desperate sponsored people coming in.

Their training is pathetic and I would not trust a stone on the road in their care. Absolutely disgusting manager and director who only care about money, not the welfare of its clients nor carers who are employed. Stay away from these people at all costs. If you speak up for your rights, you get called in for a disciplinary and end up getting sacked.

Please do yourself a favour, whether you are someone looking for work or someone looking for care, stay away from these horrible people. They don't deserve you.

I feel compelled to share my absolutely abysmal experience with Kare Plus Care Agency in Taunton. If you value your sanity, well-being, and professional satisfaction, I implore you to steer clear of this company. Working here was an utter nightmare, and I strongly discourage anyone from subjecting themselves to such a shambles of an organization.

First and foremost, it is abundantly clear that Kare Plus Care Agency has no regard for the well-being of its staff. The so-called “care” they claim to provide falls embarrassingly short of its mark. Managers are utterly disconnected and disinterested in the welfare of their employees. Their level of communication can only be described as shockingly bad, leaving you feeling lost, unsupported, and unappreciated. It’s as if they consider their staff to be mere pawns in a profit-driven game.

To make matters worse, the entire company operates with a singular focus on money. The management’s priorities are glaringly evident, and it certainly isn’t the welfare of their staff or the quality of care they provide. The callous disregard for the individuals who dedicate their time and energy to this agency is truly disheartening.

If you value a supportive work environment, effective communication, and a company that genuinely cares about its employees, Kare Plus Care Agency in Taunton is unequivocally the wrong choice. They have demonstrated time and again that their primary concern is the bottom line, and they have no qualms about sacrificing the well-being of their staff in pursuit of profit.

In conclusion, I strongly advise against working for Kare Plus Care Agency in Taunton. Save yourself the emotional turmoil, frustration, and disappointment by seeking employment elsewhere. This agency is a prime example of how not to run a care organization, and I sincerely hope that they take the necessary steps to address their severe shortcomings.

Absolutely shocking company not interested in looking after their staff only care about the money!! Dont give carers enough time to get to peoples houses or enough training to do the actual job properly. Thrown in at the deepend!! I would not want this company looking after any of my family!!

This review is for KarePlus Ashford Kent. Initially the care was exemplary for my daughter who was receiving palliative care and has now passed. During this time she was asked to do a video praising her care. She was in an extremely vulnerable place and agreed to a video not realising just what it would mean. She has since been the focus of ALL their advertising including Facebook which she absolutely hated. When her husband died people were still messaging him up to a year later and she found it distressing so I know she would not have agreed to it herself. As a family we find it unbearable to see her in such a vulnerable state and it just reminds us of her suffering. We have asked on several occasions to have it removed and so far they have not complied. So beware if you or anyone you know is asked to do this.

Bad experience - I attended an interview on 25th May for the Registered Manager's position for a new start up business in Egham Surrey. I was verbally offered the position. A week later I had to request for the offer to be put in writing but the Director told me he hadn't received any Kare Plus headed paper, hence the delay. Does the Director not realise a verbal offer is legally binding? What I didn't realise was he was still advertising the role on at least 4 other websites, one job site posted an advert 10 days ago. So much for him "being open and transparent" as I was told right from the start. I wouldn't work for this organisation after this experience. Apart from anything else it was a complete time waster, especially as I had invested a lot of time in understanding what was required.

This review applies to the Kare Plus Altrincham branch.The owner also owns the Warrington branch and has recently bought (and destroyed) the Oldham branch. Do NOT apply for a job with this company. My partner tried to stand up to bullying in the workplace and instead of trying to resolve it, they sacked her whilst she was on sick leave (for one day!) with work-related stress. The owner and manager are bullies. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

They are caring in dartford and the staff are fantastic and caring

The company- not the carers, lack compassion empathy and sympathy and are all about the money. They don't look after carers properly (low wage, no Christmas incentives whilst the office have a lovely cosy Christmas party despite the carers being front line fee earners!!)
