Horrendous experience! Poor customer service. Spoke to a women on the phone and she gave me the wrong location to collect the car. Called back and was told I’d have to wait in the middle of the street for 30 minutes for the driver to drop off the car. Car then got cancelled. Was given wrong location by customer service. My money has been taken and now I have to wait 5 working days to get my money back even though I didn’t end up having the rental. Terrible service there shouldn’t be cars on the app if the cars are not available for customers to rent. As a result had to cancel a wedding I was attending today as was not able to get hold of a car. Customer service is very useless, they are not helpful and they give you the wrong information. Second time now I had a terrible experience with Karshare. 2 cars 2 bookings have been cancelled and I am still waiting to received my money.

Karshare has been great for me. I use it with my partner when we need to take a break from London. The keyless entry is really good and I love being able to get something in my local area, not going out to Heathrow and being able to return the car any time 24hr make it way more convenient than conventional hire companies.

I’ve joined the plate form about a month a go, also invested 199 for having it keyless service to make it convenient for anyone that would like to hire the vehicle,
1 hirer decided to smoke weed and cigarette in the vehicle and also damaged my alloys(which I can agree not the Karshare fault), uploaded the images sent it over no one has got back to me they mentioned within 48hrs nothing, when calling the Karshare team, I’ve asked to speak to person in charge of damages they mentioned that they’re not available haven’t heard from them. When called this morning the person can clearly hear me and I can hear them however hangs up, when called back x3 times, they’re hanging and not wanting to talk to me, I know that bc I called them with a different number and they pick up right away. I’d also suggest to opt out of smart fair (you’ll get 40£ after 7 days if your vehicle returned, it’s been 4 days since my car left I haven’t been paid yet also cancelled all my booking with the existing confirmed bookings as I do not want to deal with Karshare.

I think Karshare is excellent. Would be good if car location was earlier & miles to the gallon & boot space was included in every car review but excellent customer service & operations. 👍🏽

Just completed my first rental with Karshare. Was a little bit amused by the whole thing, but when you get over the weirdness, it's pretty good. The rental went off without a hitch, although took a little getting used to locking/unlocking the car with the app, but I can see how this prevents people stealing your car.

Very Happy with Karshare. Would like to thank Mo from Birmingham as everytime i have had an issue he has always been their to sort issues out. Karshare is a quick and easy way to rent cars.

If you are looking to make money from renting out your car/van while you are not using it then this is the company for you. My experience with Karshare was second to none. In particular Ben and Fahid from the Manchester team were extremely helpful. Both were professional, attentive, personable and great to deal with. They made the whole process from start to finish effortless. I would thoroughly recommend their services.
