SCAMMERS. THIEVES. CRIMINALS. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Karym stole the £1000 deposit for the car, despite it being returned in perfect condition and this being agreed on return with the member of staff. Karym have refused to engage in any conversations about returning the money. They also didn't communicate that a speeding fine, issued through them and that I paid for into Karym, hadn't actually been cleared. I am now being hounded by debt collectors for another £750. They will steal your money. They are criminals. Stay away.

Reporting to the ECC (Google: European Consumer Centres Network - ECC Net) to lodge a complaint. I am also taking legal action. Disgusting fraudulent organisation who stack up fake reviews. Never received back a £1,000 deposit, never had the phone answered, totally ghosted. Additionally Karym charged us £50 for a speeding ticket. We paid it. Turns out that was their "Admin Fee" and they never passed the money on to City of Pisa. I am now receiving a debt collection harassment of £700 from the City of Pisa via a UK agency.

Absolute scam! We booked & paid for a car a month in advance. Today we went to their office in Parma, to collect it and the first thing we see on their desk is a framed piece of paper with a really bad review saying that the company was a total scam. Who would purposely print that out and display it?! We were so confused. So that was the first sign. Once we read that review, we quickly googled the company and were shocked to see so many bad reviews. Panic started to kick in. At this point, the guy at the desk had taken more than 25 minutes with my documents/ credit cards- it was as if he was stalling. Things seemed totally off. We asked him why they would display such a bad review and he was like ‘oh, it’s not good?’ ‘My English isn’t great..’ he then ripped the piece of paper and threw it in the bin. We then brought up the fact that there were so many bad reviews of the company online - hoping he’d reassure us and possibly explain it, however he just laughed. That’s when we decided to stop the whole process. He didn’t even try convince us that it would be ok. Every single thing about the experience was bizarre.

Horrible service, 0 communication. Don't send deposit payment more then one month.

I was scared reading the rewiews.
I have to be honest, i rented 2 weeks ago a Nissan Xtrail in Pisa.
The car was clean and like new. The staff was extremely kind and the price was excellent and the deposit back on my credit card just after 48 hours. Honestly, this is my experience, but it was all perfect, and i will use again this service.

Awful experience, got there, the car I booked wasn't available. I had to wait 4 hours for another car. brought back the car after heavily paid for 2 extended days. they go straight away to check beneath the front lights and there was a mini scratch as they knew it already.
GOT CHARGED by 600 euros.

Complete scam artists. They take a security deposit and fail to return it. FRAUD

This company is run by fraudsters. They take deposit from you and never return it. They also keep charging your card for random expenses.
We currently have a police case running against them!
DO NOT RENT from here.

No communication, fake reservations, totally awful experience

They dont't return the deposits and there is no way to contact them. They don't respond at all. Never use Karym Rent.

Rented car, 2 days 72.25 euros. Added insurance 70 euros. Deposit 1.800 euros, which I got back later. They wanted fuel compensation, which was not agreed. I claimed that there was no such agreement. After a while they agreed, no fuel compensation. So I got a good looking Ford Mondeo. Stepped into it, and it smelled intensely like tobacco! I called the company and got to change into a Nissan X-Trail. By the way their standard phone no was not reachable from abroad number... Also the exchanged car smelled like tobacco, despite their policy. They thought I was "very sensitive" and thereby complained about me as customer. After having used the vehicle two days, much with windows open, I returned the car efter the rental period. No damages, and I made them sign with the name, which they unwillingly did. One month after the returning of the second car, a charge consisting of 1.500 euros is charged on my credit card. I contacted them. No response on e-mails. They hang up the phone when I call and ask for English speaking personnel. This happens repetedly. Then I ask a person to speak Italian to them. Now they promise to investigate. Nothing happens. I did it again. Nothing happens. I report the company to the police. And ask for a full reversal of the charge at my bank. Criminal behaviour.

Got a little scared about the bad reviews. All bad.

The woman at the office was frendly and give good service.

Depost takes extreem long before it come back. Bad connection with Phone service.
Email was okey.

Do NOT rent from Karym. We returned the car in perfect condition, got the receipt to confirm this and was told our £1000 deposit would be returned within 30 days - no money was every returned by Karym. I kept badgering them with emails and phone calls and they kept saying wait a few more days for the money to come through. This is indeed a SCAM.

We had to go through our credit company to get deposit back. They made up damage and tried to hold deposit, deposit agreeing at the time there was no damage and promising to return full deposit immediately. Fortunately they screwed up on the paperwork and the dispute was resolved in our favour.

I rented a car from 1-4 of April ( Tiburtina 536 Circonvallazione Nomentana, Rome, Italy, 00162)
I gave a deposit of 700 euros!
From my card, these scammers did not block my money , they removed my money!

They don’t contact with me and they’ve blocked me everywhere.

Now I solve the issue through the Rentalcars.com (where I took the car) and wrote a statement to the bank that they removed money without my consent!

Never take a car there! Never!!!

Karym rent scammers. This review is 100% true. My name is Stan and I got into a scam. On the advice of Italyrent S.R.L. (the same scammers) I went to Karim Rent Tiburtina. I asked for mercedes c class. They said 150 euro + 900 euro deposit. I provided the card and the rights, signed the documents, paid the money and showed me a completely different car. Mercedes A class.

We agreed because we had already planned the trip

My wife and I rented it for 1 day and returned it on the same day at 19:00. We completely refueled it and it was in perfect condition. They said that the money will be back in 48 hours. In the evening I started reading reviews in Google and was a little shocked by what people were writing. No documents with signatures or seals were given to me, they already talked rudely to us and expelled me from the office. We went to the police and arrived.

We contacted the police and came to them with the police. Those said that everything is fine, we checked the documents and said that we need to wait. After 4 days, I applied to my bank and they told me that the amount of 900 euros was debited from my card.

Today i calling to Karym rent - they block my number.

Now we have begun an investigation with the police and I ask you to contact all the victims from sleep to put these scammers in jail.

15/01/2019 in Italy (Rome, near Tiburtina) I conclude a contract #70/19 for rent a car for one day. In the evening of this day I was return the car in time. Personal say me that all is fine and they haven't any claims to me.
On the next day KarymRent unreasonably withdrawn from deposit account 380 EUR. No documents. Without acceptance.
In the end of story - RentalCars.com (this site use for reservation) return to me 50% of this sum at own expense. KarymRent refuses to provide documents and return money. I can't contact with this guys.
Сonclusions:
1. Don't cooperate with KarymRent. They are swindlers.
2. Use RentalCars.com. They have good feedback and working with problems.
3. Very carefully read the documents. If personal is smily - twice carefully. To do a photo with date on it.
