Our order was thrown on the table, of course this was wrong. Grudgingly this was replaced for the correct order which was delivered in a similar manner to the first, without a word.
Shocking customer service - honestly, don’t bother!

I’ve recently left a great review and I visit here often , today will be my last. We had lunch in town and fancied something sweet so I had a crepe and my partner one of the half waffles on the kids section… the plate! Who in their right mind plated this dessert up? And it could have been for a child! The plate had a big sharp chip take out of it,about 6 cms long and 2 cms wide. there is no way u could miss that, I told a waitress, she just shrugged her shoulders , then after I went and asked for the manager, they man said that’s me, and again just started and shrugged his shoulders, not good enough. No one cared, no one seemed bothered. Seriously terrible service. If my complaint had been heard I wouldn’t have had to write it here!
New Staff Required.
I arrived at Taunton Kaspa’s hoping to get a nice cold milkshake and the sign on the Door said Open. When I tried to enter it turned out it was closed. The lights were on but no staff. Kaspas need to Sort their staff out. I will not be returning anytime Soon.

I chose kaspas as a birthday treat for my daughter and I was disappointed, the food was undercooked, the customer service was shocking. I love kaspas but would never ever visit Taunton kaspas again

Working there
I was going to be nice about this place however after an experience I just had when returning uniform I will be fully truthful, which is honestly nothing but nice. I worked here for a month, and was given 4 shifts (one of which I had severe tonsillitis, so was too sick to go in for). These shifts were from 5pm until “required”, and I was told to leave at 7 for two of them at 9 for another (however I was then told to leave at 8 for the last one). When given an interview I entered and was told to wait as the manager had other interviews, we all sat at tables in the restaurant and had to fill in an application form. One of the questions was availability, I put what I needed off down (28th june-5th july and 13th july.. this is what I put) and when doing the rota I was then given 2 weeks off, when I really only needed one. This meant that I wasn’t trained properly (something they used as an excuse to not giving me more shifts about an hour ago when I gave in my uniform). There was absolutely no training, we were told to drop everything if someone was at the door and were frequently shouted at to get the door if we were busy (for example if we were giving desserts to people). This was the only training I was personally given, which was okay as I have worked in hospitality for 2 years so knew what to do. Most of the time I was made to do the scrap work (brushing around tables, even when there were customers) because it wasn’t busy at all. The manager was honestly absolutely terrible, he hardly interacted with me and honestly laughed at me a lot of the time, he doubted my abilities even though I had a lot of experience before, and treated me like a child. There were also members of the staff that would laugh at me a lot for no good reason, for example one member came in and asked someone else “who the f is that” and the other one laughed. I felt uncomfortable and unaccepted during my time there, this being one of the reasons I left. I gave back my uniform about an hour ago from writing this (around 6:45), and when going in (well, my mum went in for me) they first said I had “not done any shifts so wouldn’t get paid” (I had the time sheets to prove it) and then had to look it up on his phone to know that I actually did the shifts. It’s the 6th of August, pay day is “anywhere between the 1st and the 6th of the month” and I am being paid tomorrow because he forgot I did not do a shift. I would ask questions when messaging my manager and he would ignore them and say “sounds good” or simply like the message. This establishment (Taunton) is absolutely terrible and quite honestly a disgusting place to work (I saw multiple staff members wipe their nose then make waffles etc) and I highly discourage anyone from working here in the future.
