I ordered in September and some of the items went on backorder which did delay delivery, I contacted them and they confirmed what was going on, items arrived as expected and they even put the sageo on the saya for me, I will use them again.

Awful delivery times and no reply from customer service
Bought a katana at the end of October with a back order to November, emailed them to chase it up and was told early December.
Mid way through December I emailed again to see when my katana would arrive and was told it would arrive into the UK around the 20th and UPS would deliver a few days later, I go to tracking and it was ready on the 23rd. I've emailed 3 times since then as I have still not received it and it's now the new year and haven't heard anything from them, just complete silence.
I don't mind if they are having logistic issues due to bad weather, but some update would be better than being in conplete silence.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Katanamart. I purchased a sword that needed to be returned due to a defect, but the entire return process has been a nightmare.
Despite their Terms and Conditions clearly stating that the cost and responsibility for returns lie with the seller, Katanamart failed to arrange a proper collection after multiple attempts. I stayed home on several occasions to accommodate their failed pickup attempts, yet they never provided a tracking number, confirmed collection dates, or any clear updates.
When I explained that shipping bladed items was not something I could arrange independently due to carrier restrictions, they ignored my concerns and continued to ask me to arrange the return myself—completely disregarding their own policies.
The situation worsened when they demanded the sword be returned in “more than perfect” condition, a vague and unreasonable requirement. I had already provided photographic evidence showing the item was unused, properly packaged, and ready for collection.
Overall, their customer service has been unhelpful, evasive, and unprofessional. Their actions appear to be a deliberate attempt to delay the refund process, which is deeply frustrating.
I strongly recommend avoiding Katanamart if you value clear communication and reliable customer service. This experience has been stressful and time-consuming, with no resolution in sight.

While you claim to have arranged multiple UPS pickups, you failed to provide tracking numbers or confirm collection dates. This lack of transparency and coordination resulted in missed collections—not due to my actions, but due to your mismanagement.
2. Shipping Restrictions:
I have explained repeatedly that arranging the return myself is impossible because carriers in my area do not allow bladed items to be shipped by customers. This is something you, as the seller, should be fully aware of and equipped to handle, yet you continue to ask me to resolve an issue that is your responsibility.
3. Efforts on My Part:
I stayed home multiple times for collections that never happened and provided photographic evidence of the sword’s unused condition. I have also been proactive in following up through emails to try to resolve the matter. To suggest that I have been unresponsive or inactive is simply untrue.
4. Casting a Negative Light:
My review reflects my genuine experience. If Katanamart feels negatively portrayed, it is because of the lack of care and professionalism demonstrated throughout this process.

hasnt arrived after a month and a half
So, on the 11th of November I decided to order the musha handmade katana as my first blade, expecting the 12-14 business day delivery times, but nope, even to this day I have not received a single email about it. on the 28th of November I emailed them, they said it would be delivered around the second half of December before Christmas *after* already the promised 12-14 day delivery. It's really dissapointing because I looked forward to actually ordering from them again if this blade actually arrived.

I ordered a sword over 2 moths ago as a Christmas present for my husband. I received no tracking number. I have emailed countless time’s and had no reply. I have no idea If it is a scam or a real company. I will have to report the company to my bank as fraud. It was an expensive gift. Very dissapointing.

Late shipping AND WET BLADE
I placed my order on the 26th of October for pre order in November and it was finally shipped today on the 14 of December, almost 2 months after purchasing. I made several emails to the company, to which they kept repeating that it would come next week, and if not the week after that and if not by the very very latest next week and continuously pushing the delivery date back. Othed than that lovely product, but the delivery and customer service really let's the bar down.
The blade also had water droplets on it when opened straight from the package.
Would not buy from here again

I orderd a sword and an ibo in october and was told via email that they would be receiving them by 22nd november. I have sent numourous emails but they are ignoring me. they don't answer the phone either. its now the 7th december. my advice don't use this company. they have no customer service and no sense of urgency.

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. I had cancelled an order for a katana and was reassured that I would receive a full refund and 3 weeks later there was no refund yet to arrive and alex from the customer service team had assured me it would arrive this week. However unsurprisingly the refund had not yet arrived and it has been about a month now.

worse service i have ever had to endure, terrible response time from the seller, waited over a month for goods that i was told had been sent out at two separate occasions and weren't. Then said they sent the wrong size hakama. dont use these people, just go somewhere else.

A quality clay tempered Superior sword
I purchased from them before. There is usually a 6 week wait as their products may be made to order
Delivery was promised by the end of this month. Delays can occur and I was going on holiday near delivery time and would have been satisfied with a mid/ late September delivery.
However, my sharp, quality Katana, a Tombo, arrived in 25/August on the stated delivery date I was informed of. The sword and scabbard are better quality than one that I already own with a greater curvature resulting from clay tempering. The 'hamon' wave near the edge is visible. The sword feels lighter than it is and is well balanced and sharp, but I will make it sharper for Tameshi-Giri cuts of rolled straw mats.
