My Trips are great and flight booking very functional
I'm using Kayak for tracking my trips for 10+ years, and this is good enough for a free service. Saves you a lot often headspace by keeping all the plans and bookings in one place.
Also, flight booking interface is very functional, I prefer it to other sites.

Waste of time
Tried to book a static caraven at a specific venue. Kayak kept trying to push me towards nearby hotels - yes, they were probably cheaper, but we needed this particular venue and Kayak was just making it difficult to get anywhere.
Finally gave up and booked through booking.com instead.
