HT - Although I only visited the offices once in the early stages and never met my personal Estate Manager, I knew they were there if I needed them. I think they realised that my favoured form of contact was email rather than phone and this is how much of the contact was made (to my relief!) This process worked for me as I'm busy working full time with a young family. I was kept informed with all updates and every email sent, received a response within a day or 2. I knew I didn't have time to do any of the work myself and I felt looked after throughout. Always courteous and understanding. Thank you to the team for everything you have done - its taken a year and a bit but I was warned it might do! I hope to return soon for financial advise!

We were kept informed every step of the way and any questions we asked were dealt with promptly and efficiently. Chloe Chappell answered our emails within 24 hours and we were very grateful to be looked after in such a professional manner. Many thanks for your help at such a difficult time.

I received excellent service from all members of staff that I had to deal with over the four months that it took to obtain probate for my mother’s estate. Everyone I emailed got back quickly and each person spent time on the phone explaining everything I needed to know, even before I had decided to use Kings Court Trust. Holly was great with all the initial forms etc. Wayne was very helpful and patient with me and Alfie stepped in very efficiently when Wayne was away. They made the whole experience less daunting at an emotional time. Many thanks.

Excellent service from Lorinda, high level of knowledge and expertise, guided and supported through the whole probate service which can be challenging at the best of times.
Would highly recommend Kings Court Trust and if you get Lorinda on your case even better!
Thanks for making what is a very stressful time so much easier.

That one star is generous . I have had an absolute nightmare dealing with them after my mum died first conversation I had after they were hired was with this guy who spoke to me like an idiot not someone grieving a loved one. After being told I would get monthly updates i was told take 4 months to apply for probate after 4 months I contacted them only to be told it hadn't been done this carried on for 9 months and they added ridiculous additional fees after I submitted an official complaint.
I then went to hire a solicitor to take over the cost which they were reluctant to release any paper work without paying an extra nominal fee . Through out this time they had also got third party involved pressuring me to sell very house i was living in on a monthly basis .When receiving the papers the solicitors showed me they'd written alot of the papers had names at bottom for the estate of " whoever name was that wasnt my mother" and this was through out the paper work a very copy and paste job . Also a note to mention they aren't solicitors and this shows with their cowboy attitude and lack of emotions when dealing grieving family member. The mental turmoil I went through dealing with them which has only ended because I caved into being ripped off for 2kfor very little work they did to get my solicitors to get the job done .
Only reason I'm not pursuing legal action or spoken to legal body is because I want the nightmare over and them to be as far away from me as possible

I would not trust this company to be able to even tie their own shoe laces!!! After taking their 'fee' out of the first inheritance payment (who actually gets paid BEFORE they complete a job!!!) 3 years in and my dad's inheritance is still not sorted. Broken promises should be their mantra!!! My dad will be turning in his grave knowing that he instructed such a shower of sh*t.. I would strongly advise against using KCT. Once they have their fee they are not interested.

Our Kings Court Trust (KCT) Probate Lead, Angela Thomas, took control of the management of my father’s various complex Trusts, investments, pension schemes, saving and shares some of which were still in his father’s name.
Angela’s knowledge and expertise of the Probate and associated legal systems cut through all these complications and made what would have been a stressful and time-consuming process easy and simple.

Chloe was always on hand to help with any queries I had, and was always very polite and friendly so we had a good working relationship. My one gripe however was that the funds took seven months to be transferred which was very stressful. But I'm giving five stars for Chloe, who worked hard to resolve any issues that arose.

Angela guided us through a highly complex probate situation, transforming what could have been a stressful experience into a more manageable one thanks to her extensive knowledge and expertise. Her remarkable ability to untangle the complexities, coupled with her authoritative yet compassionate approach, was truly exceptional. Of particular note was Angela's skill in managing the intricacies of working with HMRC, as she was relentless in pursuing timely responses and outcomes for our tax and probate queries. Without Angela's support, we would likely still be facing significant challenges.

I would recommend Kct, HM kept me informed throughout the process and made it simple for me to understand as I have not used anything like this before. The only thing I did not agree with was they recommend Move with us to sell the house which was a waste of money as our conveyancer was more help.
