This man is a professional con man. Appears smart, trustworthy and honest on first impressions. He discussed how he became unwell during COVID and had lots of health issues. He really pulls on your heart strings! But don't be deceived, it's all part of the act! He also has a portfolio to show you his past jobs and business cards, making him look professional.

If you look at Company House using his name 'Karl Petho' he has dissolved lots of companies including KDC build, in which he should no longer be trading under.

He has taken a substantial amount of money for a build in which he did not complete.

The roof is incomplete and water drips through. Other builders have said his work is unsafe.

He also promised me bi folding doors at a cost of £5,000. I never received the doors. Be careful as he adds on extra charges on at the end to the quote. What he quotes at the beginning, he then decides to add significant amounts of money onto the quote, making every excuse possible as to why. Then refuses to return until paid.

absolutely diabolical, wouldn't waste your money. I can prove and show pictures to how bad his work is.

A friend was saying a lot about it. And it made me shown interest in it.

Fantastic work! Karl came and fitted 3 internal doors in our terrace which is wonky and more than 100 years old. He guided us about how to look for doors, handles, locks etc and was very patient with us. He cleaned up after and put in a long shift to complete the job. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

Karl could not have been more helpful! He did quite a big job for me, kept us up to date with all the work he was doing, when he would be around and the work was done to a top quality standard. Really recommend him. Whole process from start to finish was simple and efficient

Fantastic only had a small job but Karl came out within the hour and got it sorted with no fuss or hassle couldn't be happier with the service

We had a delipidated pergola in the back garden that needed 3 of the 4 legs replacing. Karl completed the work in 2 days, excellent workmanship at a fair price. He turned up when he said he would and finished the job. Recommend this company highly.

I recently hired Karl for some work regarding a summer house and also several repairs to the outside of my house. Karl demonstrated fantastic craftsmanship, knowledge and professionalism throughout the job. He was happy to advise and make recommendations in order to reach the end goal we had in mind. 5 stars and 10/10 - highly recommended! I’ve already started discussing with him the next big project I have in mind.

Karl was very helpful in getting my building project started. He has great communication and is friendly and easy to talk to. Lets you know about any issues and delays quickly and tells you when things will be done or back under way.

Conservatory work done on a used one. Excellent job. Very sincere and dedicated.
