Kearys Renault (Cork) do not care about their customers once they have bought a car from them. Their customer service is non-existent.

The car malfunctioned at the beginning of February and I have been waiting for a replacement since the fault was diagnosed on Feb 6th 2023.

The part is not in stock at the dealership.
I have been waiting on a part ordered from their store for over a month and they won’t give me an eta on the part. Moreover they have no apparent interest in finding out what is going on. I suggested that they sell the part from one of their stock to me and replace it with the one I ordered when it turns up. Alternatively to supply a courtesy car while mine is off the road due to their poor stock management. Both suggested solutions were refused.

I have reported the issue to Renault customer service who also suggested the solutions proposed above whilst awaiting the part which was again met with refusal.

Renault say that they also have difficulty getting through to anyone at Kearys in Cork

bought a brand new car from Kearys Hyundai, overall experience is fabulous till now and I hope it remains the same. I dealt with Mr Conor and must say he is marvellous in dealership.

Had my car serviced here recently and from start to finish it was a very professional service, got my car back spotlessly clean which was an added bonus. Staff are very efficient and pleasant to deal with

Tried to make enquiries about a 2019 renault Megene on their site only to be told to told I'd get a call the following day about it. Waited 2 days. I called back only to be told it was sold. 3 weeks later its still on their website. Have made 3 further calls to arrange a rest drive. They either don't answer or your told the team is on lunch we will call you right back.only never get a call. Treated as an inconvenience. Called tk their Dublin branch in person to view another car on their site knly to be told it was outbon long term loan. Arranged to have a different car brought in from another branch had my own car valued and was told I'd get a call to let me know a final valuation and whe the cat would be in..... guess what no call. Phoned myself was told I'd get a call back....... no call back again..... don't waste your time go somewhere else they only want easy sales they don't have to work for.

One week ago today I picked up my Hyundai Tucson Executive Plus car. Absolutely love it. Such a comfortable classy car. I feel so lucky to have been dealing with Conor McManagan at Kearys. What a great person to purchase my car from. So helpful, honest, professional, knowledgeable and every other word I can think off. Choosing a car is never easy but Conor made it easy for sure. Follow up after the day I went to look at the car with a video of the car, unbelievable. Conor Is always available with any queries I have on the car. Thank you Conor for everything.

Just purchased my Ioniq 5 from Keary's Kinsale Rd, Cork. Absolutely delighted with my new car and well worth the wait!! All of my dealings were with Conor McManagan and I found him to be very knowledgeable, extremely professional, helpful and courteous at all times. He was always available to take a call, to answer any query and to keep me updated on all matters. A pleasure to deal with, I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to purchase their new car!

I brought my duster that I had bought from another dealer because I was having issues, I was dealing with Breda in Renault Cork, fould her outstanding very professional and informed me of safety issues when I was sold a crock, the information was very valuable as it could safe our lives, because the car was dangerous to drive. So I highly recommend them, will buy next car off them, but thought Breda was outstanding.

Bought a car, value of €33000 off a particular so called sales person in Kearys Nissan Cork. Car is lovely but had serious concerns of said sales person as would not answer a simple phone call or text about putting a hitch on the car as agreed in the price. Now 3 weeks into January even though I was promised said hitch would be sorted second week of January and still no answers. Exceptionally poor customer service as all I wanted was as little as a call back. Won't paint them all with one brush just seems to be one particular odious individual who couldn't lie straight in bed I'm thinking 🤔

My wife Doris bought s new car, a Hyundai 120 auto petrol and collected the vehicle on Monday, 9th January 2023. We dealt initially with Mr. Kelvin Flanagan when surveying the new car range and reached an agreement with him on price etc. It was a pleasure to deal with him. When we collected the car on Monday we also dealt with Dan and he also was highly attentive and considerate and thanks to both, our experience of trading in and buying was a pleasure.

Bought a brand new car Hyunday i10 after a terrible experience with a second hand Peugeot. We were thinking that a new car is a new car. But what a mistake! From the first day, no one gave us any guidelines how to use the car. Just weeks into buying it, some parts had to be replaced. Uphill assist also a joke (3 or 4 times mentioned to service, and even in the book, that part was missing). Just before our warranty runned out, we had a problem with some noise in a wheel (which got also very hot). When we came to the service, they said nothing strange. Then after I came back with a clutch issue, they told me that the warranty just ran out and it will cost me 2500 euro. Miraculously they found all the issues, but after warranty run out. This is on a relatively new car which an independent car service told us it should not have happened. Plus I am told that the sqeeking noise was because the brakes and the disks are worn. This on a car that has less than 30k miles over 5 years. It is worth to mention that we have asked for another car but that was not granted. It is true that the company told us to continue the PCE scheme and we would get another model (but that would have been more money). I tried to discuss with the manager, with the service guys but they were not helpful so I am now with a net loss of 4-5k as I need to repair a lot in a new car. So, my reading from this is: do not buy from Keary's as customer service is very poor. You will not be valued as a customer. Do not buy an i10 thinking that it is a great car. Unless you are going on long run on a PCE, it might be tricky as your first car might be just crap to entice you to continue on the scheme.

Purchased my third car from Aonghus in Kearys Renault in November, I purchased my 1st in 2016. My experience as a customer was effortless as it always is. I scheduled an appointment, arrived on Sat afternoon and met with Aonghus. He didn't try to sell me "a car" but rather worked with me to sell me "my car". He was honest in his opinion of value and cost and what would work for me. I have known Aonghus since 2016, as I bought my 1st car from him also and although I appreciate he sells cars, his attention to the experience of his customers has ensured I return to Kearys each time I change my car. I appreciate the effortless process at a time that can be stressful. I was less than 2 hours in the show room and left with a new car and none of the paperwork. On top of that, as I live in West Cork, Aonghus saved me a further trip to Cork and had my new car delivered to my home, at a time that suited me and had my old car collected. I have only ever experienced great customer service from those in Kearys Renault Kinsale Road and can see that for Aonghus and his team, this is something they are passionate about.

I purchased a Hyandai i30 off Kearys in Mallow in October and have nothing but praise for the place.. I first noticed the car online and loved it. I sent an enquiry but as it was on the weekend I wasn't expecting to hear a response until the following week. I got a message to my surprise shortly after from Finbarr and he was so helpful. Offered to send on a personalised video of the car on that Monday which he did. Finbarr was fantastic to deal with start to finish. I loved that he went to the bother of taking the time out to give me all the details on the car as I wasn't quite 100 percent what car to go for. I'm living in Limerick and had got no success from any of the dealers here so was pleasantly surprised when I got so much information and help from Kearys. I couldn't get to view the car in person until the weekend with work and Finbarr kept the car for me until then, which I really appreciated and needless to say I bought it on the spot when I drove it. The Hyandai was exactly as shown and described. I'm delighted with it, fabulous car to drive and will definitely be recommending to others. The process was flawless start to finish. Thanks again Finbarr!!

After service worst I've seen, cork and Middleton both the same, never again, i bought a 202 hyundai off them I took it back with brake fluid after leaking into the clutch after two weeks of buying it , obviously not checked out right before putting it on the market ,causing a foul smell doing hill start, 3rd time back to them with smell coming for it.What lies I'm being told to get out of fixing the car , they said It normal, lies. I got 2 local mechanic too confirm a problem in car and engineer report done on the car saying the smell is not normal and that they did a half job fixing it the last time. This will end in court id say. NEVER AGAIN. Sent car back I got most of my money back ,I baught the exact same car off a different company some different in clutch peddle , I'd be very surprised if they changed it as they said they did .

Bordering on harassment. Got a mail the night before the service was due to know if I wanted to replace the battery in the key fob, pre NCT check @ €55.00 etc. I booked the car in 191 Kona for a small service @ 190E and stated I needed it back for lunch time. I had only left the garage 15 minutes after leaving the car there at 10am to know if I wanted to talk with their sales department when collecting the car. I said no, I was not changing the car. Then at 12.50pm roughly I get a call to say 3 things wrong with Car. Front break pads @ €279.00, Front Wiper set @ 46E back wiper @ €36.50 all quoted supplied and fitted. Needless to add I declined. I got a quote yesterday for €100.00 for front break pads supplied and fitted. I know if I go to halfords I will get the wipers front and back and fitted for circa €35.00. All they want it to get as much money as possible out of you. How and I would appreciate a reply could there be a difference on break pads of €180.00 between Kearys and the price I have been quoted from a reputable garage???? Stay away - plus they have it sewn up in that they are the ONLY Hyundai garage in Cork city and County!!!!

We recently purchased a Tucson from conor in cork . He was very knowledgeable and friendly and went the extra mile to ensure everything ran smoothly for us .

I bought a car 16.2 Nissian Q from Keary in Cork. I had it 16 months with 60,000 km on clock. The car needed a new engine and was out of warrenty. found out this was a known issue with the car online. They did nothing for me and the manager was rude and wouldn't even call me back to discuss and support. Stay clear of Kearys in Cork

Just bought a Hyundai Tucson from Finbarr of Kearys mallow.This is my third car I bought off of Finbarr, everything was first class ,Finbarr is very knowledgeable,polite and friendly.I will certainly buy from Finbarr again. Thanks again Pat O Regan.

We recently purchased a car from Conor at Kearys Hyundai. Superb service in what was a difficult time for us. He took the time to explain everything and answer any questions we had. An unavoidable hiccup was solved by him which took a lot of stress off us

Purchased. A new Tucson in January. Issues with software. Phoned so many times but they don’t answer, or leave a message but no one calls back. I tried salesman who I purchased car off. Again never phones you back once he knows you have issues
