I am 1600 miles away from "home", and it works! The set-up call with support (thank you Sofia) was quick and easy. I have 500 megs up/down at home, about 130 up/30 down on this local IP, and I am getting 40 up/20 down through the device. Video calls work well, and Ookla Speed test is showing my home location. This is a game changer!

The IT tech connected with me through Google meets. I was unable to download anything. Not in my personal windows or work windows. The IT tech took his time, did the troubleshooting, and was finally able to get the iuess completely resolved!!! I'm so pleased with the service and I will be able to work with no problem with my keepyourhomeip router while I am out of the US with my Husband!!! Just amazing 👏!!

Strong Points:
First and foremost, I would like to highlight the exceptional quality of service, both pre-sale and after-sale. While outstanding pre-sale service is not always expected, your team's efforts went well beyond my expectations. The responses were always detailed, directly addressed my questions, and the response time was incredible. I asked numerous questions before and after my purchase, and, to my amazement, I consistently received responses within less than 10 minutes. It might sound too good to be true, but it is not.
Secondly, the quality of the solution is outstanding. There were no issues during the initial configuration session, and since then, I have not encountered any problems. This level of reliability is exceptionally rare in the IT industry—speaking as someone who has been working as a Software Quality Assurance consultant for the last 20 years.
Weak Points:
The selling process, however, requires significant improvement. I was unable to make the purchase online using my company details. The purchase form only allowed for first and last names, with no option to include a company name, VAT number, or other necessary details.
When we agreed via email that I would receive an invoice (which I did), I then faced another issue: I couldn’t complete the payment. The online system only supports credit card payments, with no options for debit cards or SEPA transfers. At that point, I began to question the professionalism of your company and seriously considered abandoning the purchase. Ultimately, I was provided with bank account details via email and was able to make the transfer.
This entire process leaves an impression of a company that is not very professional, which is misleading. In reality, your company is extremely professional, both in terms of its technical solutions and support. However, the selling process really needs improvement to reflect the quality of your service and product.

I used the device to work from USA and the first 2 weeks it worked very well. In the 3rd week the device stopped working - could not find any wifis anymore.
I was in contact with support which was not included, therefore there is the second star in my rating. Because they tried to help me. I can totally understand that support cost money for people that are not good with tech and need help. I am a tech pro and someone tells me, how to handle a device I can handle it. - Okay, tech support tried to help, so no more words to that.
All provided solutions did not work. After 5 days of try and error with provided "solutions" from KYHIP support I got an firmware update, that I have had to download on a second computer.
After the firmware update it was still not working, because of the one other "solution" from KYHIP support to change the region to Indonesia. After the firmware Update and changing the location back to united states the device was working again.
I lost 5 business days of work.

Responsive customer service - they are excellent at turning around helpful answers via email. Set-up session went overall smoothly, I am grateful that the associate was flexible even when I joined a few minutes late to the session. They are ready and available to answer questions. I used to recommend this company but now its a scam. The wifi connection is very bad and all they can do is sell you support sessions after already paying a hefty fee for the router.

Your staff made it very clear that if I can't PAY For a session i'm not worthy of support even though I paid over 500 euro for the router itself so its 40 euro a month for 1 year use and then I have to pay support every month that I use it. And i've seen your back and forths with other disgruntled customers so I don't see the use in doing the same. I just want to warn others of what they are signing up for which is paying your team forever.

So here is my recent experience with KYHIP.
I bought the most expensive package 6 months ago (518euro). The exact same material I received can be found on amazon for a third of the price they sell it.
Recently I began to experience connection issues, during calls and meetings the connection was dropping cause of the their VPN services. They scheduled me a free call with a "technician" who ended up blaming my ISP connection and router. As I have a business subscription with my ISP, the very next morning the ISP technicians came to my location and verified all the cabling and the fiber media converter, all was totally fine. I could also confirm by myself that all was totally fine as I could work from the location where the server is running without any connectivity issue. The connectivity issue was only happening when working on the travel router.
Due to the intervention of my ISP, the ISP router had to be reset, here started the scam. Due to the reset some configuration in my ISP router were erased. The KYHIP support began trying to sell me 50euro support session in order to reconfigure the ISP router through video call, which I refused after paying more than 500 euro already. I asked them to send me some documentation to reconfigure it myself (not an expert in networking but i am a tech savvy. They kept refusing to send me a guideline in order to reconfigure the material they sent me and kept asking me to pay for a support session. I let them know that I am in a very bad situation, no way to work and loosing money every day, they did not care and always replied that the only way to redo the configuration is through a paid video call with them.
I spent a bit of time online searching what config should be done and it was actually a two clicks configuration that even my 70years old mother could have handled as long as someone would have explained her. I did the reconfiguration myself in 1 minute top and everything was working again.
Their service works, their material works. However if you need any kind of support they will do everything they can to sell you overpriced support sessions. They refuse to provide guidelines to do the configuration yourself, no matter how urgent your problem is. I lost 1800 euro not being able to work for 2 days.

My concern is more about your scam business model, refusing to send documentation for users to do very simple manipulations in their ISP routers in order to force them to pay your overpriced 'sessions' regardless of the urgency of the matter for the user.
You are clearly taking advantage of the fact that people need to work asap to sell them 'technical' sessions for 50 euro, to actually just do two clicks. I had requested multiple times your support to just send me the settings that needed to be done on my ISP router after the reset of the ISP router, they kept refusing trying to make me believe that it was too complicated and that a technician was mandatory... As I said in the end I had to search internet and found out that the said 'complicated settings' were just two clicks to set a port forwarding on a specific port. This is definitely not honest business practices for an european company, you are taking advantage of the desperation of clients who need to work, you refuse to give them information they request no matter if they are loosing money just because you want to bill them an additional 50euro or have them subscribe to a 100+ euros support plan per year...
You can turn it as you want, this highlights serious concerns regarding the honesty of your business model and the value you give to your clients.

There is no technical skills involved in entering the correct port in a field on a router interface, it is as much 'technical' as writing a review here, I may consider writing a short guideline and publish it online to help other customers who would need to redo that configuration and would not want to pay so much money for a two clicks matter.
I am not pretty sure why you keep going... Just let it go, admit that my point is valid and go try to sell more support sessions to other customers who probably will pay cause they are tricking their employers and can't afford any kind of downtime.
Unfortunately for you this is not my use case using your material and I was not desperate enough to fall in the trap. I assume that you are going to degrade my VPN tunnel connectivity to make a point. I won't miss an opportunity to be vocal if this would appear to be the case.
