Attitude towards fans and users needs improvements

Update from 2022/10/12:

It seems like they stopped blocking new people complaining about difficulties regarding getting refunds for cancelled concerts. Mine and my wife's Instagram account remain blocked though.

Another piece of good news is that someone clearly influenced Ticketmaster and they finally issued us with a refund - after months of neglect, but still. I don't know which of the channels we reached out to actually worked, but I'm raising the rating in this review from one start to three.

Overall though, I have to say that being a fan of Kenny's has been quite a miserable experience thus far. I still wish him all the best and will try to keep supporting him, however I think he needs to personally take a look at people handling things in his name, because they haven't been doing a very good job. There still hasn't been any official apology or explanation regarding why the gigs in the UK were cancelled in the first place!

=======================================

Original review:

Unfortunately, Kenny Wayne Shepherd's attitude towards fans is more than appalling. My wife purchased two tickets to a gig that Kenny was supposed to headline. After a few months, he pulled out, only stating mysterious and non-existent "COVID travelling restrictions" - at a time when all pandemic restrictions in the UK were already gone. There was no other explanation, no apology, nothing - like the fans didn't exist at all and having to say anything was an inconvenience to Kenny.

But it gets worse - even though his participation was cancelled, we were unable to get any refund for the tickets we had already purchased! Ticketmaster claimed that "nothing changed in the event", the concert organiser is silent until this day. And Kenny?

Well, Kenny's PR team has been systematically removing comments mentioning this fraud across all social media and blocking the victims that dared to speak out loud.

This is, I think, the worst possible thing an artist can do to their fans - take their money, then crush their hopes without even a single word of explanation, and then forcefully silence them across all available channels. Shameful!
