Didn’t know how to tighten hand break other than replace break pads

I put what I needed doing on a site and the companies gave me quotes for the work. They were the cheapest. But when I went to collect the car, they had no clue on how to tighten the hand break and asked me to check how it felt as the break pad replacement should fix it. This made no sense to me as this was noted in my repair needs and put in with my quote as labour.....if you don’t know how to fix something for certain, don’t claim the work! It passed it’s MOT but wouldn’t have been impressed had the hand break failed again though and they not have a clue how to fix it!

Had a tow bar fitted to our 2017 Land…

Had a tow bar fitted to our 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport last year. I asked for the steel bar that was removed as part of the installation to be returned to me, because the steel bar has to be fitted back if we wanted to remove the tow bar and transfer to another vehicle. I called the Carlton office and asked 3 times for it to be returned, each time I was told it would be sorted and they would call me back, they did not!
The plastic cill was cut poorly where the Tow Bar was fitted.

Do NOT go there - over priced and rude

Do NOT go there, over priced and rude
I brought in my own spare part, and was told fitting the part would be a lot cheaper than formula 1 down the road.
Was charged £50 for the 15 minutes job!! Other garages quoted £20-25, what a rip off! When asked about the price the manager was extremely rude and arrogant. Insisted that was correct, would not accept any reasoning. Very disappointing service. I will never return to such a dishonest garage!!!
