Wish I’d checked into them more but I was desperate to get our fence painted before the autumn and they responded quickly. However, I feel I was shortchanged as they charged me £525 plus VAT for a job they considered was done after 4 hours and they only did one coat. When it had dried it looked patchy and so I texted to ask if they could do another coat as that is the required coverage and I also that I had expected them to be there at least a day and a half as they’d suggested when quoting, but I was completely ignored. I’m mad with myself for not being more insistent before they left…lessons learned

I’d give zero stars if possible.
Absolutely no response to book an appointment to give a quote to carry out a day’s work. Several attempts were made on the landline e, mobile and WhatsApp. Only one response asking for a suitable date and when given nothing further. Given the reviews on various sites about poor quality work I feel I’ve had a lucky escape.

Avoid. Used and regret. A bill of 534 turned in to a bill of 744 for very little extra materials.
Start jobs and although I work from home and had to wait for BT to resite the line they said it wasn't a problem. They first came to our property on the 19th January 2023.
Having come back at least 3 times to complete and in the words of one of their staff they have too much work so start lots of work and take time to finish.
I then received the invoice. It was dated 14th Feb I then get a second one replacing that dated 15th January and a third and threat of legal action. You only finished the work today and have been paid.
Don't use them. We are glad we didn't use them to do the bathroom because it would have taken them months.
Don't be fooled by the Kent Trading Standards logo it's to reel in vulnerable and elderly customers in.
They use very sharp practices. Once bitten twice shy. Won't be using you like ever again. They finished the work today on the 7th February 2023.

Kent Handyman Service, prompt visit to talk through list of work required. Promised quote, despite chasing over several weeks no quote arrived. Owner stopped responding to texts and calls. Very disappointed
