No repair or new wristband twice

I ordered a watch here twice. Both watches were fine but problems arose when they got defect. The worst watch broke and there were no possibilities to open the watch so it could not be repaired. I got a discount for a second watch and they assured me that the design was updated so it would not happen again.

Now the wristband of the second one broke and I can not get a new wrist band. I can get a discount for a new watch...

So, so much for the sustainable design: once something breaks, you have to buy a new watch.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry that it seems that all of you watches broke, that's not how it should be.

We used to offer a repair service that is for now on hold because of internal changes related to growth and move into a new warehouse. We are eager to implement all new adaptions fast into our daily business that implies also some new suppliers which explains the waiting for new watch bracelets.

Ordered from their website and got no update for 16 days

I ordered a watch band and only got my ordered cancelled after 16 days. It’s not a great experience, usually companies let you know the next working day that they cancelled your order. I even had to write them after 11 days, otherwise I’m sure they wouldn’t have done anything, and even so it took them 5 more days to reply.

What a shame, I almost thought it was a scam…

After 4 months still no exchange or refund

I bought two watches in Japan, one for my partner and one for myself. Upon reaching home we realised that my partner's watch did not work. The long odessey of getting Kerbholz to do something (exchange, repair or refund) has taken more than 3 months and is still not resolved. We have sent the watch back and have not heard from them ever since. If it takes them so long to respond, either they have insufficient employees or their products are so poorly constructed that returns are flowing in faster than they can process it. I have been wearing my functioning Kerbholz the last 4 months and find that while the design is still aesthetically pleasing, both the cheap quality, high price (each watch was about 200€) and poor customer service has put me off the company. What a shame that they advertise as being a German company- I would have expected a good quality at the very least.

Amazing watch and very good customer service

I bought an amazing watch from Kerbholz. Unfortunately it broke after a few months, so I emailed Kerbholz what happened. They offered me a new watch, which I could choose from the new collection (with even better features). They were friendly and reacted quickly; in short time I received my new (even prettier) watch. Super customer service! I'm enjoying this watch every day :)

I brought a watch from Kerbholtz 2…

I brought a watch from Kerbholtz 2 years ago, it was an impulse buy when I was visiting Zurich.

About a month ago, I damaged the frame and rendered the watch unusable, my fault; because I've liked the watch so much, I wanted to get a replacement, at my cost.

I managed to track down the same watch on their website, and as a bit of good fortune it was on clearance sale, as I guess the model is a few years old now.

I then had a few problems with using their website because our house has a name rather than a number. This never happens in Germany apparently and their website is configured to accept only a number in this address field. This meant I had to contact customer service, and we agreed that I would enter a dummy address and they would intervene to ensure delivery to the correct one.

The email chains were a bit tiresome and I had chase a couple of times (hence 1 star deducted), but once the order was finally placed it's been delivered from Germany within less than a week.

I think their products are interesting and different, and whilst the customer service was a bit of a fuss at times, Kerbholtz have been helpful throughout, and eventually we got there.

Great customer support

My watch broke within the guarantee time. Customer-support was super friendly, efficient and fast in sending me a new one - from the newest collection with better enhanced quality.

Kerbholz is both dishonest and inept

I purchased a watch in December that did not work. They failed to respond to any of my emails and their on-line chat function did not work. I was finally able to get them to send me information about returning the watch, with the promise they would pay for return postage since the watch did not work. When they received it, they refused to agree to pay for my return postage (claimed it worked when, in fact, it had multiple problems). More importantly, two months later, they STILL have not issued a refund. They have claimed PayPal will not "process" our refund and are now insisting the only way to issue the refund is if we provide them with the routing number and checking account number of our bank--information that I absolutely will not provide. Fortunately, MasterCard has put the payment into a dispute account so I am covered. But Kerbholz combines a level of unbelievable inefficiency and unbelievable dishonesty that I have not seen for a very long time. Do NOT buy one of their products.

Trying to get a refund. No communication. No refund. Terrible company. Do not use them. Also watch was awful quality. Very cheap looking. Do not buy from this company

Watch face flaked off within 2 years

The face of my Kerbholz watch flaked off after 1.5 years, I rarely wore it. Company offered me discount off a new watch. Kerbholz markets itself as 'sustainable' but the products don't last, so beware. Offensive greenwashing.
