Kerzner International Recruitment Process

I recently received a rejection email from Kerzner International regarding my application for the Director of Information Technology, Infrastructure & Operations position, and I wanted to share my thoughts about the experience.

Firstly, I appreciate the acknowledgment of my application; however, the overall communication felt a bit impersonal. The rejection email was very standard, and I was hoping for some specific feedback that could help me understand the decision. It’s always disappointing to put in so much effort and receive a generic response in return.

The suggestion to explore more opportunities on their career site or LinkedIn came off as a bit hollow. If the company valued my application, I would have expected more engagement rather than just a nudge to look elsewhere. Additionally, while I understand they will keep my profile for potential future opportunities, it feels more like a way to keep candidates hanging rather than a genuine interest in my skills.

Overall, my experience with Kerzner’s recruitment process left me wanting more. I had higher expectations from a company known for its excellence. I hope they can improve their communication and candidate experience in the future.
