I wish I had looked at trust pilot before dealing with them they’ve just wasted 3months of my life
Was dealing with a Neil bell was told every thing was
Going smoothly then around mid December nothing
Phone calls ,emails sent no reply
Disgusting way to run a business and can see I am one of hundreds they have let down
Will be making a formal complaint

We were going to use key equity to assist us. We had Joseph Withers come round. Having had a discussion identified that it was not right for now. Joseph gave us some brilliant and independent advice could not be happier and we will revisit should we need to in the future.

Tried twice to release equity in our property, find excuses not to lend, stressful experience, avoid.

The staff at Key were excellent namely Julie and Tony. They were pleasant and very helpful. They answered my emails very quickly and were very efficient. I would recommend the company if you are thinking about doing equity release in the future.

Good until we had a survey. Their surveyor alleged we were running a dog grooming service from home which we were not. Claimed to have seen a non existent van with business livery on our drive at time of visit. Total falsehood

It starts quite well but the communication from the agent is poor. Whilst we did get completion and the monies requested, when you complete the satisfaction forms the head office phones asking why we did not give a glowing report explained poor communication and the valuer who spent just tens minutes at the property, was not interested in any work we had completed which was extensive and to add insult said we had parking for 2 cars, the fact that we have parking for 6 cars seemed to pass him by and then nothing. Promises of hampers ands vouchers for introducing friends NEVER happens.

If I could have given a zero rating for this company I would have. Twice I arranged for this company to phone me regarding equity release and twice they failed to ring me.

Don't waste your time with them.

Very happy with the service provided by Lesley Frame. Extremely helpful from start to finish. Never once was I contacted to try hurry me into making a decision which made the whole experience stress free.

We decided to use Key equity to solve all our financial issues as I was in bad health. We were given an advisor called Ian Weatherhead and from the start to completion his knowledge and expertise in these matters was second to none. We release equity last year during the height of the pandemic and the company still managed to get all the paperwork and 'stuff' that had to be done, done quickly and efficiently, using online phone calls, photos of the house and common sense etc. Other companies refused to do anything until we could meet face to face.
When we wanted the final payment released a short phone call got it started thanks to Emma.

They claim 5 star equity release. They also say no obligation and you can tick boxes not to be contacted. But this does not stop them. No way wouod i dela with a company when they start with lies

after 3 months from the first meeting which lasted 1 1/2 hrs i explained what i wanted the money for to do the kitchen which i already ripped out bought the kitchen out of our savings.
£30,000 the sum to be borrowed against £550,000 our bungalow owned outright
had a survey done through key equity.
3 weeks after had no response so i contacted them they said they cannot lend the money as we had no sink in the kitchen

Absolutely the best Company I have ever had to deal with. Polite, efficient and very informative. Can’t say enough good things about them.

Book an appointment and receive a free Xmas hamper. Of course when you read the small print, they reserve the right to give you nothing at all 😂.

Key Equity Release reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the promotion at any time and without notice. This includes the ability to substitute the prize with another prize of equivalent or greater value if necessary, change the specification of a prize if circumstances require it or change the entry methods.

We decided to look at equity release, what a con can only release a little money, had a telephone conversation with an advisor who was rather rude, I chose not to answer a question and it went downhill from there, apparently because our house is solid brick it doesn't suit their criteria, so advisor promised to call us back that has never happened, it's a con.

This is the third firm that’s sending me rubbish trying to get me to get a loan on a house I don’t even own.
When I find out who sold my details they’ll really wish they hadn’t. It’s not even the random phone number generator at work - although they generally hang up on me when I tell them that I haven’t been able to play the violin since I lost both arms in that TERRIBLE accident.
Can’t imagine why...
