Contacted but to no avail
Contacted to say blinds received are twisted and do not function; repeatedly sent instructions on how to fit, even when sending videos to show that we have refitted as they’ve shown this does not untwist the metal as shown in a multitude of photos. Leaving us with a broken blind which does not function and no other way of rectifying besides an option to repurchase… without knowing if the new ones will again arrive damaged and unsuitable for fitting with the disfunction

Excellent product and service
Excellent service from all involved, from the first call, the technical staff and the engineer who came to do the repair. It transpired that the repair could’ve been electrical (only covered for three years) whereas the windows are covered for 10 years. In the event, I was not charged for anything. The window and built-in blind have been excellent over the years and when necessary will be replaced from the same company.

Absolutely awful customer service
Absolutely awful customer service. Avoid this company at all costs. We tried to order blinds for our keylite roof windows, but due to an error with their website at the time, they sent the wrong size and have refused to accept responsibility or send a replacement without charging us and extra 25%, having already paid a very expensive £250 for 3 small blinds in the first place. We have spent thousands of pounds on keylite windows for a large new build house & now wish we hadn’t, due to the terrible customer service. Will be contacting trading standards & taking to small claims court if necessary.

good looking but not so sure about quality
the ladder looks quite nice and functions well after been installed. But disappointingly the trapdoor isn't strong enough and it broke in less than 1 year. Keylite customer service is helpful and send replacement part promptly but still it's not ideally as I need to pay for replacement job and it easily can cost close to the ladder itself. I was hoping keylite would help with fixing it but unfortunately that's not the case.

Excellent Service
Had skylights fitted. Workmen said they were easy to fit. Had a minor issue -thought the workman had rushed the job. Contacted Keylite, seems it was fine and it was resolved over the phone. Great customer service. Very knowledgeable.

The loft ladder was damaged on arrival
The loft ladder was not delivered on the day as promised- only 24 hours later- leaving me with having to take another day off work and my carpenter messed about. When the ladder was unpacked it proved to be badly damaged and unusable!
So another three days wasted with a hole in the ceiling awaiting a new delivery. I was offered no compensation. There was no way to be in contact with the delivery company either- so had to stay in all morning waiting. I don't believe the company cared about their service nor the fact that the delivery company they used were unreliable.

I have been meaning to review for a while but time has got away from me.
We ordered 2 blinds for our attic, initially had issues with them but was sorted out in person by Ryan who was absolutely fantastic. We all know things can go wrong from time to time but it's the way it's dealt with is what matters. Blinds are excellent quality and top class service from a UK manufacturer so you can buy with confidence.

Cheap ripoff of velux
Cheap ripoff of velux. Poor quality leading to leaking and breaking frames on skylights. The loft ladder was a bugger to fit because of a lack of dimensions. I'd give them a wide berth personally.

Solar blind from Keylite - DONT BOTHER
I first bought a solar blind from Keylite in May 2021 and the one supplied was damaged. They did send out a replacement within 3 weeks and then I had similar problems to others in that the fitment is not a 5 minute job, especially up a ladder.
After about 18 months use the solar battery failed and I was told it was around £30 for a replacement, but after a complaint they sent me a free replacement instead. Now in 2025 the battery has failed again, and again I asked for the cost of a new battery replacement - this time its £123.60 inc VAT (£88 + VAT for the blind and £15 +VAT for delivery) to get a new battery. I can buy 2 replacement manual blinds from other suppliers for that price!
I would strongly recommend against purchasing a solar blind from Keylite and definitely look elsewhere for a manual option too.

Have been waiting one month for order to be delivered.
When I emailed with the order number and details.
Got back to me asking for evidence of the order which I had already supplied.
Then came back to me saying they needed to speak to the factory.
So far another day later still no response.

Great after sales service
We have 3 Keylight windows fitted in our new build, when we tried to use them we found them very difficult to open and close. Luke, the Keylight engineer came out and sorted them out, he was polite, helpful and did a great job. Cannot fault the after sales service, excellent. Thank you Luke and Tanya

Great service so far
Great service so far! Just about to move into my new home so haven’t fitted the blinds yet. The five stars are for the customer service I received Alicia who was amazing. She helped me find the sizes, sent me colour samples and even gave me a spring discount code to get 20% off. I am sure that if I have any problems fitting my blinds the help will be there. I have 2 more blinds to order and will be using this company again for sure

Two Solar blinds with remote control
The blinds were well packaged and arrived on time. The blinds were fairly easy to install in a Conservatory with 2 skylight windows.I had to remove a previous solar blind from Keylite which had broken but I consider it did very well to last 7 years exposed to extremes of temperature and humidity. I look forward to the next 7 years of trouble free usage.
