Key Performance Training are a workplace regulated training company, offering a range of training courses to employers and employee's alike. We have a dedicated training centre in Swindon, Wiltshire, where we run courses from every day. These range from forklift trucks (as we are an RTITB accredited member), first aid, fire safety, manual handling and health and safety (through Qualsafe and Ofqual). We work with a wide variety of businesses in many sectors, as every British business is governed by the HSE legislation and therefore requires their employees to be properly trained to a high standard. We've therefore been able to help many companies meet their obligations. We also understand that training can be the first step to a change in career, and our courses offer people a pathway to employment. We work with recruitment agencies and help delegates find real jobs that are available for trainees with their newly acquired skills.

I attended a refresher course at Key Performance Training Ltd and had a fantastic experience. Booking was straightforward, communication was clear, and the staff were welcoming. Adam, the trainer, delivered the content in a practical, engaging way and made sure I understood each section before moving on. This course has really boosted my confidence and updated my skills. I'll be returning for future training.

I completed my Level 2 Forklift Operation and Maintenance plus RTITB Counterbalance certificate through Key Performance Training, and honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Dave was my main instructor for two weeks - patient, encouraging, and really knew his stuff. I also got to know Darren and Adam, who were equally supportive and went out of their way to help both me and my fellow student succeed.
What impressed me most was how they tailored their teaching to each person's pace and made sure we truly understood everything, not just passed the tests. The whole team at Key Performance Training genuinely cares about their students and it shows. I'd recommend them without hesitation - they really do go above and beyond to make sure you're properly prepared for the workplace.

A smooth, professional process from initial contact to completion. Highly recommend.

Great teachers! A gentle introduction initially, a forklift taster day and a view into the world of logistics in the first week, helped to prepare me for the workload in the NVQ that followed, then supportive and friendly teaching from David to get me exam ready.
The forklift training itself is of a very high standard, and my teacher Adam had me feeling confident and motivated, ready for the test.
A very positive and rewarding experience,it has given me the confidence, knowledge and accreditation necessary to proceed.
Many thanks.

Key Performance Training LTD have done an amazing job training me on a forklift. David Gearon is BRILLIANT could not fault him at all, he really made me feel comfortable and confident on the truck. He took his time in explaining and showing us how to do things correctly. All the staff that I had interaction with were also so friendly and willing to help and assist. I would highly recommend going to them for any FLT licences as they have a wide range of courses. Thankyou so much dave in helping me develop new skills and understanding of a counterbalance forklift. Keep up the great work! Thankyou.

The NVQ is worthless. Some of the people in my group literally copied coursework answers word for word from Google yet some of them couldn't even pronounce the longer words they'd written down and had no idea what they meant. If I'm getting the same NVQ as them then it isn't worth having. The practical stuff could also be done by a trained chimp. So simple, yet somehow deemed worthy of receiving a qualification for doing it!
Also on the last Friday I played a harmless prank on a course mate, who was a friend I'd been giving a lift home to for 2 weeks. As he was coming out of the toilet I held the door shut for 2 seconds and then hid. An hour and fifteen minutes later he stands up and announces he's having a panic attack and going home as he 'hates enclosed spaces'. Apparently the door prank gave him a panic attack, despite the fact he had already locked himself in the same 'enclosed space' to use the toilet! Dave Gearon then started acting like Hitler, demanding people come downstairs and outside for questioning. He then went on and on about 'mental health issues'.
Needless to say I didn't go back on Monday and my forklift training was terminated, despite being a separate course due to start on 2nd June. The email they sent mentioned 'mental health and wellbeing' and 'safety' etc etc which is laughable. Two days earlier Dave Gearon had told us all how he'd let a drunk person with a hangover from birthday celebrations have THREE attempts to pass the forklift course before failing him!!! So much for health and safety, eh Dave?

I recently took part in a counterbalance course and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. The course was well-organized and clearly structured, which made learning straightforward and effective.
A special mention goes to the instructor, Darren, who did an outstanding job. He explained every detail thoroughly, with patience and professionalism, making sure everyone understood both the theoretical and practical aspects. Thanks to his dedication, I now feel confident and well-prepared to operate a pallet truck safely and efficiently in a work environment.
I would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking to learn or improve their pallet truck handling skills.

Everyone is warm and welcoming with good facilities on site. Location is easy to find and close to shops for food. My instructor was knowledgeable, confident and experienced in the role himself. He took time to explain tasks throughly and guided my understanding to ensure I was competent. I was also offered the opportunity to (if eligible) complete specific courses to further my understanding and employability. I will recommend Key Performance and Instructor AK in the future.
