The instruction manual was very clear. It was not easy to set up. But now hat it is in place it is very secure and not too difficult to use.

The key safe seems well made and secure. Fairly easy to fit to brick wall with supplied screws and correct tools. Make sure you have a torx drive the correct size and socket wrench as screws are tight in fittings. Time will tell regarding longevity. My only slight concern is that it may be possible for water to run down wall behind lock safe and get into housing over time via screw holes.

Regarding your concern about water — we haven’t had any reports of this causing issues, and even if a little water did get in through the screw holes, it wouldn’t affect the key safe itself. You’re right to be thorough, though — a little extra caution never hurts!

My second Tamo. Fantastic quality pieces of kit. Easy to install with the included fixing kit. Easy to set up with a code too but take your time and don't lose the code, there's no master code! We have 100% confidence in it (I have no connection with the company 😊)

Setting key code positions is not positive, it is too easy to move between numbers, there doesn’t appear to be a definite position between numbers. Also the method for securing to a wall will not work for all brick types, some bricks are softer than others and users should be made aware of this.

We're sorry to hear that the key code dial felt imprecise to you. We designed the hexagonal dial to make it as easy as we could to set a code but we’ll certainly pass this on to our product team for review, as we’re always looking for ways to improve usability. Regarding the wall fixings, you make a valid point – different brick types can vary significantly however exhaustive testing has been carried out on both the self tapping screws and the maximum security screw and plug, on all sorts of different brick, block and concrete substrates and they can work well on everything. To maintain the LPS security rating, the provided fixings must be used. If you need help on a particular substrate please don't hesitate to contact the support team on 03303630303.

Very strong, very heavy solid key safe. Illuminated buttons and weather cover. Holds 2 keys. Fiddly to programme code originally but now straightforward to use . Definitely superior to most other key safes.

Quite pricey but very solid. A bit smaller inside than I expected given the outside size. I had to remove keys from their keyrings to get them to fit in. But love the light and easy to use. It will hopefully stop my kids from needing to take keys out with them ( and loosing them. )

Hi Emma. Thanks for the kind words. You are correct in saying the internal vault is smaller than it would appear from the external size. This is due to the double wall design which is part of the reason its so secure. The safe has two internal key hooks that we have designed to hold keys flat inside the safe without the need for a keyring, keeping them neat and away from the lid to prevent any jams or bent keys when the safe is closed. It will definitely stop lost keys!

The quality of this key safe if very good. I’m pleased with knowing this cabinet is being used to safely store my house keys. Whilst this device is easy to operate, it does require some good fitting equipment to install to a safe standard. Please refer to the keysafe installation video for guidance on how best to perform this.
