Seems robust but not fitted yet

Hi I received my key safe and am still waiting for someone to contact me to have this fitted. I have used your “CHAT” and they too said they would get to me with an update and I’m still waiting. I can’t review quality etc until it has been fitted hence the low score.

Product has only just gone up on the wall. It was easy to install, and feels like it is made well and of good quality materials.

A solidly constructed key safe that I have every confidence in, unlike many other cheap ones (I previously had one!) that are easily broken in to when you know how!

It’s a very heavy unit which surprised me, but I guess it has to be to be secure. The push buttons leave a lot to be desired, I wasn’t sure if they were being pressed sufficiently to allow access, and the numbers beside each button aren’t clear so it’s difficult to see which buttons you’re pressing in the dark. I’d also point out that the unit won’t allow many keys to be locked away as the housing unit is pretty small. Finally the plastic cover protector on the front keeps opening, the securing mechanism isn’t the best. Overall it does what I need it to, and I’m happy with the overall security of the unit, I just think a few tweaks to the finished product would make it easier to use and look better.

Thanks for taking the time to share such detailed feedback, Mark — and for the 4 stars! You’re absolutely right that the C500 Pro is a solid bit of kit — that hefty feel comes from its police-approved, heavy-duty build.
The push buttons can take a little getting used to — they do need to be pressed until you hear or feel that reassuring click. As for the beige numbering, this is designed to avoid paint wear over time, which could otherwise make the code easier to spot.
You can store around 4–6 keys comfortably if they’re placed individually on the hook (key rings can make things a bit snug).
