That pack is designed to make installation easier and give a bit of extra convenience, though it sounds like you managed to get the job done just fine with your battery screwdriver 💪🔧 We don't recommend this as people can over tighten the screws and shear them but sounds as if you did a great job.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the screws and screwdriver provided made installation difficult. We appreciate you sharing your experience, as this helps us review the tools and instructions we provide to make installation easier in the future. Bricks can differ in hardness. The 5mm drill is suitable for most substrates, however in harder brick, which it sounds like you have, sometimes a larger hole is required to allow the screw to cut into the brick, and like wise, in softer brick, a smaller hole is needed. Apologies again that you had this issue but glad you managed to install it and hope it gives you many years of service.
