The pro safe fitting pack was useless and the drill bit was too small, but I had my own tools to finish the job. The safe is in use daily and all seems to be well.

You need this fixing pack to ensure a secure fitting of the key safe. Perhaps it should be automatically included with the P500 KeySafe.

The screws used to fit the Keysafe to the wall require a deep hole so that the dust generated from drilling doesn't clog up the hole preventing the screws to be firmly seated. The longer drill provides sufficient depth of hole. The screws also require care when fitting. Sufficient torque to seat them fully is best done by hand, and the screwdriver supplied is capable of that task. It is recommended that this kit is purchased for fitting the keysafe to ensure it is installed correctly.
