The P500 Pro (formerly known as Supra P500 Pro) can be installed on exterior walls, or inside in a location that suits your needs. We can provide in-depth key safe installation instructions, or you can make use of our professional installation service. This combination key safe has over 4,000 possible codes, making our wall-mounted key safes nearly impossible to crack. Please note: To maintain the security accreditation, P500 should only be installed on flat brick, blockwork or good quality concrete. If installed onto render, the security accreditation will be invalid. With added security features for an even higher level of protection, the P500 Pro comes with an attack resistant lining and code cover to prevent accidental code changes. This makes it an ideal key safe for elderly people and those living with Dementia or Alzheimer’s. Mechanically operated, this key safe doesn’t need electrical power or an internet connection to run, so you can enjoy safe and reliable access every time. High security key safe certified by police & third-party authorities Along with the C500 Pro key safe, the P500 Pro was the world’s first mechanical key safe to achieve 'Secured by Design' Police Preferred Specification, awarded to products that increase home security. Extra tough anti-theft construction The 2nd Generation P500 Pro has a number of anti-burglar features including a thick, hardened Zinc Alloy shell, a stainless steel backplate and an internal vault liner. We’ve also included an anti-tamper plate that covers the coded key safe mechanism to prevent accidental or unauthorised code changes. Reliable performance, whatever the weather A superior key lock box for outside, the P500 Pro is rust and water resistant and has been tested to work in temperatures between -32°C and 68°C. It includes a weather-resistant cover made from tough ABS plastic for further protection. Ability to change codes as often as needed An outdoor key safe that allows you to choose optimum security with over 4,000 possible code combinations. For peace of mind, you can change it as often as you would like with the code changing tool included. Spacious key safe design A large key safe with space to store up to 6 keys and an integral hook for easy access, you can safely retrieve and replace your keys without the hassle of them falling out.

Much more solid than my previous lock box. Good long masonry screws. No rawl plugs. Good weather cover. You do need a torx set to fix it in place. Good service and prompt delivery.

The P500 Pro is supplied with security fixings specifically designed for installation into brick or concrete, which is why traditional wall plugs aren’t required. A Torx drive is needed for installation, and we do offer suitable installation tools and fitting accessories separately if required.

I bought this for use outside my home. It seems very sturdy, and setting the code was not difficult once I'd figured out that the directional arrows referred to on the code screws are not the indents in each screwhead, but a tiny arrowhead printed onto the screwhead. Then it was easy! A detailed picture of this in the instruction booklet would have been helpful. My one quibble is that the combination lock mechanism will open regardless of the order (sequence) in which the chosen numbers/letters of the code are entered. In other words, if the code is set to be 567A, those four characters can be input in any sequence and the keysafe will unlock. This effectively reduces the number of possible sequences to just over 4,000 (according to the manufacturer). It sounds like a lot, but I estimate that a person armed with a list of all possible permutations of numbers (which I imagine AI could easily generate) would be able to find the right one in less than 10 hours of continuous attempts. Quiet street, three dark nights in a row, and bingo... The Key Safe Company makes a more expensive safe in which the same number can be chosen several times (e.g. 114929), and it may also require the numbers to be entered in the unique sequence of the code, I'm not sure. Either or both of these features vastly increases the number of possible codes and make it virtually impossible to crack. Had I paid closer attention to the comparison between the two safes and understood this, I'd probably have shelled out for the more expensive - but more secure - model.

We appreciate your suggestion regarding a clearer image within the instructions. Following feedback like yours, we have created simpler step-by-step instructions and helpful videos on our website to make setting up and using our key safes as straightforward as possible.

You are correct that the P500 Pro uses a non-sequential push-button code, meaning the selected buttons can be pressed in any order. However, while it is theoretically possible to attempt different combinations, the likelihood of someone being able to remain at a key safe undetected for many hours, across several nights, continually trying thousands of combinations is extremely low in a real-world situation.

As you mentioned in your review, the differences between our models and their security features are available within our product information and comparisons, and we offer a range of key safes to suit different security requirements. We appreciate that, having now considered those differences more closely, you may have chosen a different model for your own requirements.

My only criticism is the numbers are black on black making reading hard. Otherwise it looks like a good investment for the future.

The numbers are extremely difficult to read because the case is black and the numbers are black, I have had to stick tape down each side of the numbers and use a colour pen to make it easy for each number to stand out

Excellent customer service. Read the instructions carefully before you start as setting the code can be quite fiddly, however once set the safe is very sturdy and easy to operate. I had an issue with the first item I received but this was swiftly resolved by customer services.

Sorry to hear you have had an issue setting the code. This should not have happened as the code change tool is made from a softer plastic to the code spindles and should always bend and give way before the mechanism.
The mechanism itself uses these thin strips as a defence from code bumping, meaning again, they give way before the code is bumped.
We are of course willing to replace the safe or refund you. I will be in touch to discuss which root you wish to take.

Very sturdy product, looks and feels well made, the internal key hook is very small and only had room to hang one security key (the type with a flat blade and a plastic top). The tool to set the combination code is a little flimsy and a poor shape, as when setting the codes it fouls on the body of the safe.

Easy to program a combination and the template supplied makes installation much easier. A very robust product but wish the buttons were in a more visible colour as would be used by carers or in an emergency.
