It is ok, the keys where yiu change the combination is a bit flimsy. Only bought to replace a faulty one.

Difficult to instal, difficult to use.

The Permanent KeySafe is one of our smaller and more discrete models which unfortunately makes it a little more difficult to use. A bigger model from our police preferred range is far easier but then these models are more obvious so it's really a weighing up of small size vs operability. Hopefully the usage has gotten easier with practice.
Very secure, easy to set the combination and securing to a wall is relatively straightforward. I had to break in to a previous KeySafe as I had forgotten the code, it withstood an attack from a club hammer and only succumbed to a drill. The new combination has been noted!

I moved into a flat where this key-safe was already fitted but no combination. Managed to get it off the wall, so wanted to use same screw holes and ordered same keysafe. It’s well made and strong looking but a bit old school. The doors not hinged and you have to enter the code even when putting the door back on which seems fiddly and unnecessary. Still, it fitted where I wanted it to, without further drilling necessary and as the freeholder owns the brickwork, that was a good idea.

The Permanent KeySafe is one of our older products, there are loads still out there as they just keep on going, lasting for many years.
If you do want to upgrade, one of our police preferred key safes would fit over the area where your Permanent KeySafe is covering the holes.
Fairly easy to use but I dont like that it isn’t hinged at the bottom and that you have to put the code in again to put it back together again! My daughter has an older one from this company which is better!
