I bought a £200 new old stock Phenix manual wind watch from the 1970’s. Worked fine for a few days and was super accurate. Woke up one morning and it had stopped running, wound it and it didn’t start up again, even when fully wound.
Messaged Kibble Watches immediately and they told me to send it in and they would get their watchmaker to look at it. James Kibble would leave me voice notes updating me on the status of the watch. He told me that it had been given to his watch maker, tested, let it wind up, wind down, disassembled, cleaned etc. Remember we’re talking about a £200 watch here. The service from James and his watchmaker was really impressive. James said that he would keep it for another couple of days to test once reassembled to make sure everything was ok.
He told me everything was fine and that he would send back to me. It appeared that the mainspring would get stuck when the watch was fully wound down, a gentle shake would get the balance firing again.
Had it for a few days now. Wearing it right now whilst I’m sat on the train writing this! The accuracy is great for a 50yr old watch! I’ve had no issues with the watch and I will definitely be buying from Kibble in the future.
Now I know if I have any issues going forward from anything I buy, it will be addressed with immediately. Very reassuring experience and I would highly recommend this company.

James has sold a number of my watches over the last couple of years and I have never had any issues with those transactions.
Very professional but equally applies a human touch to all of his communications and transactions.
Whenever I visit Kibblewatches, I find him friendly, hospitable as well as very knowledgeable. There's never a hard sell from him as he's genuinely enthusiastic about watches.
I would absolutely recommend Kibblewatches whether you are looking to buy or sell a pre-owned watch.

I thoroughly recommend Kibble Watches to anyone seeking a verified, authentic vintage, neo-vintage and modern preloved watches. I bought a 2006 Omega Seamaster 300 with a gorgeous faded bezel and the watch was still keeping time better than original spec. They have some varied and interesting stock and James was not only professional, as I would expect, but also warm, welcoming, sincere and patient. There is no air of snobbery, just an authentic keenness for all things horological. Thank you James.

Recently ordered a watch from James and couldn't have asked for better service. My order was placed over a bank holiday but I still got a personal email from James advising that it would not be sent until the Tuesday.
Watch was shipped using guaranteed delivery before 1pm.
When it arrived, it was very well wrapped with plenty of padding to avoid damage.
The watch itself was excellent and as described on the website.

I can't recommend Kibble Watches highly enough.
