Good, quick service - no problems

I placed an order from Thule in late December. The Website was easy to use and I had no problems placing the order. The order arrived exactly when it was promised. Since that was my first experience with Shopatron, I will look for their name in the future as a trusted delivery source.

Not impressed!!

I ordered a pool cue from Powerglide on 7 Dec 2014 with a stated deliver of within 8 days. It is now 16 Dec and Shopatrons tracker still states that my order should ship within the next working day! It has shown this message since the day my order was placed!! There has been no communication from Shopatron and I am now resigned to my son not receiving his Christmas present on time. It seems to me that Shopathons is excellent at delivering disappointment but falls short when fulfilling orders!!

Middleman, avoid

I attempted to order some gloves from an online retailer as a Christmas present, only to find out they use Shopatron. I've ordered lots (tons) of things online before and never had an experience quite this bad.

I ordered the express shipping so that it would be here in time. It's clear now that it wont be delivered in time. Still "Assigning for Delivery". I suspect that being a middle man no retailer picked up the order (probably because what I ordered was somewhat specialized and there was no stock).

Rather than someone communicating with me about what it happening (and clearly I am not going to get the goods by the deliver-by date), my order just went into a black hole.

Forget Shopatron and companies that use it. Much simpler and you're more likely to get your goods if you deal with a retailer directly who has stock.

With your permission to substitute, the order was express shipped to the original destination by the original delivery date. The tracking information on the package now shows as delivered.

Middle-men

Shopatron are basically the middle link between you and the holder of the product. They seem to get a cut, and in return take ages to resolve any problems and make the whole process harder than simply ordering from a retailer. I would avoid wherever possible.

You're right! We are a "middleman" of sorts, although we think of ourselves as "the world’s leading provider of cloud-based, eCommerce order management, delivering world-class online shopping experiences."

Shoppers get what they want, quickly, since Shopatron takes orders placed on the brand’s website and routes them to local stocking retailers. The local stocking retailer then ships the order directly to the customer or makes it available for in-store pickup.

Again, we want each shopping experience to be stellar and hope we have an opportunity to meet your expectations in the future.

The worst company I have dodne business with !!!

I recently have the poor misfortune to have to do business with this unscrupulous company.
I bought some parts from CanAm for my atv. CanAm uses shopatorn and so I bought the parts. I was lied to 3 times about shipping when I called because it was taking so long. I was also given a bogus tracking number on one of the calls. The part was purchased on the 6th of August 2014 and finally received on the 20th.
You refunded on 8/11 $5.46 for an overpayment of the fuel pump. You say you refunded the shipping cost of the fuel pump. I went on my paypal account, which is what I used to pay for the pump and there is no such refund as of 9/08/14. I paid 6.99 for shipping on that pump so if you made a refund of that , there is no record of it in my paypal account. I will keep this updated so the people can see if this refund comes to fruition
As of 9/9/14 I received my 6.99 shipping refund. They told the truth this time!

Our records indicate that two orders were placed on the 6th of August. The first order delivered on the 12th without incident. The second order, as noted in the response above, did have some complications with stock which ultimately led to a delay in shipping.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this delay has caused. The order was originally assigned to a fulfillment center in Arizona. The fulfillment center later informed Shopatron that they could no longer ship the order based on stock.

Our search for a new fulfillment center did not go as quickly or efficiently as it usually does. The Shopatron Fulfillment Operations team is following up with the CAN-AM authorized fulfiller to see how we can streamline the process in the future.

We do appreciate your feedback and as a result have refunded the shipping fees associated to this order. The credit was applied to the order on 9/08/14. Please note, the refund can take up to five business days to process and show up on your PayPal account.

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience the delay in shipping has caused and do hope you will reconsider shopping with us again.

Shopatron is the worst fulfilment service EVER ! Goods not shipped.

I feel compelled to leave this review as I'm just about fed up with this company my first issue with shopatron came last year when I tried to order 5 items from Aroura world inc's website after waiting three days they send me an email saying one of the items I ordered was discontinued even though the item to this day is still available to buy on aroura world, I had to waste over a week and ring PayPal to get them cancel the authorization shopatron had placed on my account for the money they took from my PayPal account.

Just recently I saw an item slightly cheeper on aroura world than on eBay so I thought I would give them another chance big mistake, first mistake i made was paying using paypal again as after two days get an email from shopatron saying they cannot take the money out for my paypal account and asking me to change the payment type strange i thought as there was enough funds in there to cover for the transaction i checked my paypal account to find that the amount had been taken so i called shopatron from the UK to the US they basicly said they could not take the money, even though i explicitly said they had, they denied taking any money and it was a paypal problem so i called paypal to find they had placed an authorization against my account so i got it canceled went back to shopatrons site and changed from paypal to my credit card details and the order updated to say waiting to be charged, not happy with this i called shopatron again who said if you update it dose nothing (so why there an option to change my payment details if you CAN'T?) she took my payment over the phone by card and assured me that the order had gone through to the supplier.

Two days ago it was due to ship they say it should be sent in 1 working day its been two working days and nothing has changed still says shipping soon this order I placed 4 days till now still has not shipped the money has been taken from my card. I tried to contact the supplier and guess what ? No reply :(

I want my items ! Sort it shopatron.

We sincerely apologize for the delay in shipping your order. During the checkout process, an authorization was placed on your PayPal account meaning we were clear to accept your payment once the order was assigned for shipment.

When the order was assigned to a Fulfillment Center for shipment, the system tried to capture the funds from your PayPal account but the charges were declined by PayPal.

At that point you received an email notification regarding the payment issue. Once we received your successful form of payment, we continued to process the order.

Unfortunately, between the time of your original order and the time we received a successful form of payment, the item ordered had gone out of stock. The Fulfillment Center is obtaining the item from the Manufacturer and expects the order to ship within 2 business days.

We have arranged for international express shipping at no additional cost to you to mitigate the delay in shipping.

We appreciate your feedback. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with.

Worst site I've ever used - Couldn't even place the order

I was trying to order from suzuki.com. The first problem I had was trying to get my payment information entered. I tried using google chrome (Version 36.0.1985.143 m), Mozilla Firefox 31, and even Internet Explorer 11.0.11. When I would try to enter payment information the state field never showed up. I had to continue clicking "Enter New Payment Information" several times before it showed up. I understand having glitches in systems so I pushed on. A few days later I received an email stating there was a problem processing my card. No problem, I figured it was a security feature on my card and wanted to use a different one anyway. When I returned to update the payment information I found that the only way to use a different card was to add another one to your account. I did that and had the same problem with the state field again. Only this time after I was able to get the state field up and the information entered the data did not save properly. The system only maintained the card number and CVC code. It dumped the billing address information. Needless to say I was fairly upset so I tried to cancel the order using the website. The button to do this was unresponsive and forced me to call and work through their automated calling system. Once I reached a representative I asked them to just cancel the order and delete my account to remove any personal information. This is the worst part and 100% I would never recommend shopatron. After cancelling the order, they informed me that there is no way to permanently remove MY PERSONAL INFORMATION from THEIR system. At this point all I can hope is that they don't spam me to death or get hacked.

TL;DR - Get your order through the first time or don't use. They will maintain your personal information even after you request it be removed from their database.

Worst Online Order Ever, wish I could give it Zero Stars.

Where should I begin? I had recently purchased a new Sea Doo Limited and expected delivery on June 13. On June 3rd I placed an order with Seadoo.com for a life jacket and wetsuit. While placing the order the expected delivery date was 7-10 days, more than enough time to receive the items before the Sea doo was delivered. After the order was placed I received an email from shopatron notifying me of a 7-10 day delivery and they would email confirmation when the items shipped. After 10 days I emailed shopatron questioning my order status. 2 days later I received an email that the order was still being processed. At no time was I notified that the items were on back order and would not be available until the end of the summer. I called Sea doo to complain and a Life Jacket was shipped 5 days later, this was the first time that they had notified me of the back order status of the remaining items and would not be available til August 30. While deciding on cancelling the remaining order or not I received another email from shopatron that the items would be available for delivery on June 23. Yesterday was July 7 and I received a message from shopatron that the items are still on back order and now the availability date is November. I called shopatron to cancel the order and after waiting 20 minutes on hold they were very happy to cancel the order. If shopatron would have notified me that the items were on back order I would never have placed the order or missed a week of being on the water waiting for my items. Rest assured I will never place an order with any company that uses shopatron.

Tey take your money and don't care how damaged your merchandise arrives.

One star is over-rating this company.
I ordered 12 tubes of paint advertised on a display card, individually wrapped but received 12 mangled unwrapped tubes thrown into a box. I ordered from the official website of company A, Shopatron took my PayPal money and a third company C shipped by throwing the mangled tubes into a box.
Company C told me to go to Company A, Company A told me to go to Company C.
Shopatron who took the money did absolutely nothing, but take the money. I will never buy again from a company associated with Shopatron.

Too late for Christmas!

Placed ordered December 7 for two Christmas gifts for our granddaughter. One item was out of stock even though it did not show as such when ordered. That item canceled yet I was not notified. Credit card was charged December 17, yet the second item did not ship until December 23 after I placed phone call after not receiving a reply yet to my email. The item did not arrive until December 30--over 3 weeks after I ordered it and nearly 2 weeks after our card was charged. Since it did not arrive in time for Christmas and the other item was canceled, had to buy substitute gifts. Completed Shopatron survey January 3. Still no response 3 weeks later.

Really? You want me to stay home from work for 2 days waiting for my order?

Just ridiculous. We purchased a discounted large appliance as part of a recall fulfillment. While the product website says standard shipping 3-7 business days, we were not contacted until the 4th business day, and that was when the fun started. Apparently, Shopatron thinks that people have the ability to stay at home and wait for delivery for two business days. They advised us that our order would arrive "Thursday or Friday" , which made the delivery 9-10 business days, and a signature is required, no exceptions. I asked what method the product was being shipped by, they told me it was freight carrier. They would not tell me who. When I said that we worked and it was not possible for us to be there for that long, they told us to "get someone over the age of 18 to be there to sign for it". Come on. They then offered to ship the product to another location, or cancel the order and we could re order when we were "better able to accept delivery". Amazing.

A phone call to the merchant brought commiseration but no real assistance.

I guess that the trucking company will have a wasted trip out to our house, and then will call and schedule directly with us like they should have done in the first place. Somebody is wasting gas, effort, and time with this system. I will not intentionally do business with this company again.
