Love their academy course
Took their Kickstart Country course - I'm brand new to guitar and it was just what I needed to get started. Working through all the songs in the bonus books now, and loving this new hobby!

I joined as there was a 30 refund…
I joined as there was a 30 refund guarantee. I tried it but it wasn't for me.
However the company said. "unfortunately you are ineligible for a refund as you've completed almost half of the course, and as per our T&Cs we only refund where someone has completed 20% or less of the course." But on their advertising images or doesn't say that
They should make this very clear.
The response is also very aggressive. I never threatened anyone. What does that actually mean? I'm entitled to write a review as I said:
"Oh I wasn't aware of that. I'll put a review online to remind people that the guarantee doesn't apply if you take over 20%".
What did you say I threatened to write a review.
I've also sent an email to the consumer council in Ireland. I am entitled to do this.
You are also entitled to have specific terms and conditions available on your courses. It was apparent to me that a refund was only available if you had completed 30%.

As discussed in our email exchange, our terms and conditions are linked on every page, and before you make a purchase you hit a checkbox that says you have read and agreed with them.
We have the 30% maximum rule in place to avoid those who would abuse our refund policy by purchasing a course with the intention of requesting a refund after completing the bulk or even the entirety of a course and downloading bonus materials - something that is sadly quite common in the online course space.
In your case, we note that you purchased a course, completed the advanced sections (making up just under half the course), and then requested a refund.
When the refund policy was explained, you threatened to leave online reviews if no refund was issued.
We stand behind our refund policy.

I never asked for their emails
I never asked for their emails. When I unsubscribed a guy named Brian sent me an email asking why my parents named me Brad Bennett. He said it seemed cruel. Haha very funny. You should be fired. What an unprofessional company this must be. Update: they sent me an email saying that they don’t believe me and they are going to take down my review. Haha I don’t care and apparently neither do the owners of this “company”. I was trying to help them. I unsubscribed about 6 times so far and I’d bet anything they will still send me emails that I NEVER ASKED FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE! Update: killerguitarriggs is LYING in their response to my review. Trustpilot has a screenshot from my phone that I sent them. That is proof. The screenshot shows the idiotic email from Brian at killerguitarrigs.com and it shows the company name at the top of the email. Haha we’ll see how fast their lies in their response disappear. The funny thing is that I don’t care one way or another. I only posted the review to help this company with their bad employee.

Brad, you signed up for our mailing list August 3rd of last year, and opened about 80% of our weekly newsletters, never once attempting to unsubscribe. On Feb 8th you unsubscribed from our newsletter (for the first and last time), and subsequently sent a series of threatening, abusive and profane emails to us. Following this, you posted this review that is falsehood after falsehood.
We have been in touch with Trustpilot, and they said they will not remove your review as you were at one point on our mailing list, so can be considered a customer, therefore your review is "valid", even if completely fabricated.
We're not entirely clear what part of our newsletter you took such exception to that has lead to all of this, but it is unfortunate that Trustpilot, despite the large amount of evidence we have provided, is allowing this fake review to stand. The fact that they keep suggesting we upgrade our membership with them, and that upgrade comes with enhanced "reputation management" suggests this is more of a pay to play platform than an actual review platform.

KGR has the best reviews and courses! They go in depth enough that anyone can understand the concepts, whic hs great.

Really happy
I bought the slash course and really enjoyed it - full of lightbulb moments! I even went back and picked up the rest of the courses in the artist mastery pack - looking forward to getting through those when I finish slash!

Hendrix course
This is a pretty good guitar course. He takes his time and shows you how to play the songs. I wish there was a bit more theory so I could understand musically why, like triads. That would help me take this deeper and use it in other songs or other ways. But overall its very helpful.
