James Lee Owner of Kim Chee Pride Inc.

My family has been buying this brand for a couple of years now and we really enjoy it, this week we purchased a container as we always do and the taste was definitely off. We are very familiar with the taste of kimchee but this particular jar was definitely wrong, the flavor was sour and odd like as if the ingredients had changed or something was missing either way it does not taste like the products we're used to.
This resulted in my effort to try to reach out to the company to find out if we should even be eating this particular product or if maybe something went wrong during their production or maybe the storage was incorrect... Whatever the case maybe I wanted to reach out with the serial number on the lid and inquire about this issue, only to find out that the website they have on the label is incorrect, it turns out to be a totally different website spelling - when you research that the website doesn't work at all. I found only Basic information about the Company but there's absolutely no way to reach out. The phone number also doesn't seem to work.
Considering that this manufacturer is located in New Jersey the phone number that is provided is not correct.
I've come to realize that if something went wrong with this product there is nobody to reach out to or even just ask questions regarding the product, I find this to be bad business. And of course the fact that they have zero company customer service is also very odd and concerning. I've seen this brand in a lot of supermarkets and I bought them from many different supermarkets in the past this is the first time I've had the need to reach out with a legitimate issue only to find out that the company is nonexistent online.
I don't know about you but when I purchase food I want to know that I can reach out to the brand if something were to go wrong... Instead we have some sort of ghost brand. I don't think I will be repurchasing again for the reasons above.
They have no website, no phone number, no contact information... And all of the information printed on the label does not match up to what this company is registered as according to a few other websites.
I hope they correct this in the future.
