While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

They look like a phishing operation to me: I received several requests from them (apparently), requesting a "reseller certificate" that would allow me to receive more royalties from my book recently listed on Amazon KDP (They have no relation to them). They wanted $1500 to unblock my "KDP" account. They received emails that I sent to kindledirectpublications.com.
Here is an email I received from them

Subject: Request for Reseller Certificate to Process Book Royalties
Dear Philippe Faucon,
I hope this email finds you well.
We are reaching out regarding your book's royalties, which have been accumulating. To ensure the proper disbursement of these funds, we require a valid reseller certificate as part of the compliance process.

The reseller certificate is a mandatory document used to verify the distribution and tax obligations tied to your book sales. Without this certificate, we are unable to proceed with the clearance and distribution of royalties.

Please provide the reseller certificate at your earliest convenience to avoid any delays. If you require assistance in obtaining this document, let us know, and we will guide you through the process.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. We look forward to your response.

Best regards,
KDP Support Team
