The Unfortunate Truth

I am writing this review to express my experience to you in a relative way. Everything, in the beginning, presented itself as being excellent. However, over the following 6-7 months, we (my fiancé and I) noticed I was being shorted on catheter supplies. We had informed them that I had been approved for 200 catheters a month, yet I was still running short. They claimed they could only order them twice a month instead of the regular one-month supply. Nevertheless, we finally ended up counting the catheters that they were shipping us and instead of 100 every two weeks, they were sending us 90 biweekly which shorted me 20 catheters per month.

I am currently with Kindred because of a nephrostomy tube, which, admittedly comes with a a lot of essential medical supplies for maintenance. With that said, a nurse in Kindred’s office, has attempted to discharge me twice now despite our family doctor’s orders, physical therapists, and nurses' advice. To make matters worse, I've never even met her in person so she is judging based on presumably a lot of things, EXCEPT her physical presence required to make an informed and honest assessment. It would appear that the number of medical supplies, and there expense, does not warrant the cost for Kindred to keep me as a customer. Kindred has a waiting list of people which I feel sure would be a more profitable option for them. In conclusion, I would speculate that it all comes down to the customer being a price tag. The unfortunate truth being “money is the root of all that is evil.”

On a side note, the Physical Therapists and a majority of Kindred’s Nurses are amazing, polite, and respectful! They have become like family here with us. There are a few we didn't vibe with but that's to be expected in a relatively general way.
