Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant dissatisfaction with the products, finding them to be of poor quality and not worth the high price. A recurring issue was the company's subscription model, which many found difficult to manage and cancel. Customers reported issues with automatic enrollment in recurring shipments and unexpected charges. The cancellation process was a major source of frustration, with numerous accounts of customers struggling to stop payments and shipments, even after directly contacting the company. Some individuals also mentioned difficulties in obtaining refunds and dealing with customer service regarding these issues.

DO NOT ORDER THIS!!!!! Total scam

If i could give this no stars I would. Total scam. They don't tell you it’s a subscription and to get it cancelled is absolutely ridiculous and so difficult. I had to call 6 times. They continue to charge you even once you return the item and cancel. I had to call after I shipped it back and give them the tracking number because they weren't going to refund my money. They should already know the product was returned and it should reflect on your account automatically. Had I not called about my refund I would still be getting charged. This whole thing was total BS. I have been battling with this since August! DO NOT ORDER THIS!!!!!

No kindness in kind science. At least not to their customers

I have a lot to say about customer service, the refund policy, and the misleading membership. However, I'll keep it simple: don't buy their products—it's a scam! They deceive you, and the products are poorly made with low-quality ingredients. Getting out of this deceptive situation cost me hours of my life and hundreds of dollars. Ellen ruined her reputation for me by advertising this company.

This company is a complete sham

This company is a complete sham. Customer service representative either try to talk you into some sort of revision to your order or become hostile. Either way, they ignore any requests to cancel subscriptions and they will continue to attempt to make charges to your credit card. The FTC should address this company and revoke it's license.

Highway robbery subscription

The products are ok but not miraculous. Their subscription service is HORRIBLE and even though I was told wouldn't' receive another delivery for 5 months, and that it was easy to cancel, I was charged for another product delivery after one month! Highway robbery which seems to be a common experience of others who've ordered Kind Science. A TOTAL RIP-OFF!

No quality in products and no customer…

No quality in products and no customer service. They haven't cancelled my subscription even after I reached out to the customer service , continue to charge my credit card and sent me the next shipment.
When I'm trying to return the products they haven't even sent me return shipping label neither return address.

DO NOT DO THIS

DO NOT DO THIS. I wish I read these reviews. Lost all the respect for her. And so sorry for myself for loving her once. Dude they subscribe you and keep charging you and it is very pricy and not even good products and they wont help you to cancel your subscription and I never received 2 of the packages and I emailed them and no response. Clearly just after your bank account. The WORST online purchase experience. IT IS A TRAP.

I’m so upset by their business practices that I haven’t even tried the product. Don’t waste your money nor your time.

BEWARE —- do not purchase this product

BEWARE —- do not purchase this product. They sucker you in to paying $315 every 3 months for this stuff. $105 each month is auto charged to your account. When you try and cancel the subscription they want you to continue at a 20% discount per month and really push you not to cancel. For the price this product is below average.

This company is a fraud

This company is a fraud. I initially signed up and cancelled membership because they billed me for three future months. After I cancelled, they sent me a shipment. I never opened it and mailed vi USPS. I STILL after three weeks have not received a credit. BEWARE!

I only got a quick flash at payment…I feel meant to deceive.

I only got a quick flash at payment about subscription , surprised I even saw it . After I got the product in a timely manner I went online and created an account . I then easily found the unsubscribe feature. I received a confirmation mail . I saved that mail to files just in case . Very disappointed that Ellen is behind a product that uses these methods that are not allowing people to clearly see what they are signing up for. Do better Ellen!

Kind Science sucks

Didn't receive everything in my kit. Called and was hung up on. Now I can't get anyone to answer the phone. Was not aware of the subscription either. Ellen has not changed at all, she is still very deceptive.

Kind Science is a rip-off

Kind Science is a rip-off. They sign you up for an automatic membership and the first shipment after the trial costs $250+ dollars. You ship the product back and only get $166.55 refund. Such a scam. I bought this because of Ellen. I will never buy anything else endorsed by her. Like her show-- it looks good on the surface but toxic behind the scenes.

DON'T BUY KINDSCIENCE

Buyer beware. This is a deceptive company. I purchased the sample size product for $63 in July 2025. One month later in August I received a box with the full size product and a charge of $90.04 on my credit card. I didn't intentionally subscribe to receive ongoing shipments, so there must have been some fine print that I missed, but nevertheless, I was enrolled. When I finally got through to customer service, they gave me the run around but eventually said they would cancel my account and wouldn't ship any more product, however, I still had a balance due of $180 and HAD TO PAY FOR TWO FUTURE SHIPMENTS OF $90 EACH for product I was not going to get. I forced the issue and eventually they agreed not to send me product and not charge me for the next two months, but they wouldn't send me a confirmation to this effect. I expect there will be a charge in Sept and again in Oct because there was no way to confirm my conversation. This is a scam!!! Ellen DeGeneres is using her name recognition to authorize a fradulent company.

Wish I had read reviews/Ellen Degeneres

Wish I had read reviews! Truly saddened Ellen Degeneres endorses this product. I’m 68 yo & trusted Ms Degeneres. Product wasn’t much different or better than other skincare brands. I currently use Mary Kay moisturizer and Leaping Bunny OTC products.
My chat to cancel resulted in “Marvin” asking 1) how product worked for me - CANCEL was not addressed.
2) instructed me how to apply - CANCEL not addressed
3) offered extension to use and $$ incentive
It wasn’t until I responded in all CAPS & threatened to report to business watchdog agencies.

This company engages in unethical…

This company engages in unethical business practices by having you purchase a starter kit at a reduced price and then they covertly sign you up for a membership that allows them to continue shipments of higher priced items on a schedule not agreed upon by you, and they bill your credit card. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS ORGANIZATION. Ellen DeGeneres should be ashamed of herself for being a spokesperson for this product line!
