Note: This project was delivered during the COVID-19 pandemic, when nationwide shortages of building materials caused delays across the construction industry.
We used Kingpost Construction Ltd for our two-storey double extension and house renovation and couldn't be more pleased with our choice. Right from day one, when first discussing a quote for the work, Gino communicated with us clearly and professionally and during the rest of the project, he was easy to contact and quick to respond. We really felt that we were included in the decision making throughout and that our happiness with every relevant detail was of paramount importance.
Everyone at Kingpost Construction Ltd was dependable, (you could set your watch to their arrival every morning!) and our neighbours have all commented on how considerate and polite everyone was, which was incredibly reassuring. It was also clear that the various sub-contractors were chosen for their equally high standards.
As with any significant project, it would be fair to say that we hit some bumps along the road, but it’s during these challenging periods that we really saw the value of choosing a great builder. Gino confidently helped us to overcome each and every difficulty and was proactive in suggesting solutions whilst remaining considerate of our budget throughout. We had to vacate the property for a significant portion of the build, and throughout that period, we were very comfortable handing over the responsibility for our home. The site was incredibly tidy at all times and it was clear the project was being run with a real eye for detail.
Overall, we could not recommend Kingpost Construction Ltd more highly and would not hesitate in using them again in the future. If you’re searching for a reliable, communicative, honest builder, with an eye for detail and an incredibly high standard of work, then look no further! We are so happy with the beautiful family home they have built for us, and, with a baby that arrived mid-build, we are especially grateful for the way in which the project was carefully and considerately managed from start to finish.
