Brilliant windows great value for money

Was in desperate need to replace my sash windows and came across Kingswood Joinery through a Google search. After speaking to Ray and being given some very detailed advice I went away and enquired with a couple more companies just to be sure but I decided to go ahead with an order from Kingswood as the price was more suitable and I felt alot more comfortable with the communication I got from ray. The turnaround was very quick for the manufacture and I was very happy with the quality and finish of my new windows. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of windows and doors

I read the poor Trustpilot reviews for…Badly Made Windows and Rude and Unhelpful Management

I read the poor Trustpilot reviews for this company but decided to ignore them as they were mostly about advertising spam. Now I know I should not have ignored them. I ordered double-glazed sash windows from them and paid the deposit. At first, they were friendly and communicative and they claimed the fantastic quality of their windows. However, when they were installed, we noticed that our room was draughtier and noisier than with our old, original, single-glazed sash windows. Sadly, it turned out that this was due to the windows being manufactured badly! The window frame is too big for the sashes so they move back to front inside the frame when the windows are closed. I complained and after months of waiting, they came and installed bigger but quite flimsy brushes so there was no improvement. Fensa's inspector saw this and advised me to go back to Kingswood. I did, but as this was not a building regs failure, they refused to do anything. AVOID THIS COMPANY they are rude and unhelpful

As thick as the timber they sell

This lot are proper thick, as a, er, plank of wood rather aptly.

They just spam, and spam and spam. Their excuse in response to reviews elsewhere is that:

"Here at Kingswood joinery we only use registered people to send out our mail shots, you will get some people who do not wish to receive these emails.
we do have an unsubscribe button but if you are unsubscribing from an email which is linked into another one then you will still receive our mail shots.
if you email us at: xxx using the email as to which you are receiving these emails on then we will send this over to our mailshotting company to get you removed from the list.
Obviously you do get some disgruntle customers you can please some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time."

Now, what i a 'registered person'? You couldn't make this up, this is literally what they said :)

And they admit to using a mailshoting (spam!) company.

I have never spoken to these muppets. I live 300 miles from where they are based. I did not asked to be spammed. I am not in any way considered 'legitimate interest'. There is no opt out button as required by law. The emails are unsolicited spam and break GDPR laws and I have now documented all the dates of previous spam communications and submitted to the ICO as a complaint!

Agree with the other comment, unsolicited spam

Agree with the other comment. Unsolicited spam and they will have bought my email address from people that have no permission to sell it and on top of that its a personal email address. Any company that uses this method of sending emails needs to be given a wide berth.

I'm sick of companies I have never had…

I'm sick of companies I have never had anything to do with sending me unsolicited emails. Then when I unsubscribe they send them again. Well done for alienating your customers, if I ever do decide to get any sash windows or casement doors I will use anybody but you. This has been reported to the ICO, you should choose your email marketers more carefully.
