At Kip McGrath Billericay & Wickford, we provide high-quality tuition and support for children aged 4 through to A level. Our experienced, fully qualified teachers specialise in English, maths and science, creating personalised learning programmes that build confidence, strengthen skills, and foster a genuine love of learning. We take the time to understand each child’s unique needs, ensuring that every lesson is tailored to their abilities and learning style. We also offer comprehensive support for important exams, including the 11+ and GCSEs, helping students approach these milestones with confidence and preparedness. Every student begins with a free assessment, which allows us to identify learning gaps and design a programme that targets specific strengths and challenges. This ensures that progress is measurable, focused, and effective. Tuition is available both in-centre and online, offering flexibility for busy families while maintaining consistent teaching quality. Beyond academic support, we encourage positive study habits, problem-solving skills, and a growth mindset, helping children not just achieve results but also enjoy the process of learning. Parents consistently report that their children become more confident, motivated, and enthusiastic about school. Our mission is to provide personalised support, expert guidance, and encouragement so that every child can reach their full potential and develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed both academically and personally.

Children of all ages have grown at kip

I have used Kip for 3 of my children. It helped my oldest increase his GCSE grade. It has given my KS2 more confidence in her own ability and my KS1 child loves her tutor who is adaptable and changed the teaching methods to ensure they get the most out of her session

I cannot recommend Kip McGrath enough

I cannot recommend Kip McGrath enough.
My son is dyslexic and really struggled with GCSE maths and English. Without the fantastic help and support Kip gave him, there is no chance he would have passed these GCSE’s and got into his chosen college course.
He originally resisted going but the teacher, Lauren made him feel good and confident enough to go. So so pleased we took the plunge and sent him there. Definitely worth it.
Will be sending my other children also.
