f-ing bs blocked my ip cus i had ad block on

Too many pop ups and adds!!!

Just got banned with NO warning for using ublock. The reason I use it is because their ads are full of malware. Good job of getting rid of your client base.

they banned me for using ad blockers ....which i wouldnt mind but they have the worst user interface.there are mandatory pop ups from just entering the site.dont go there there are many alternatives like 9anime and go go anime kissanime was good but now its trash

I don't mind having some ads on somewhere that deserves them. Supporting creators is cool. But not only they have those insanely annoying pop ups and new tabs with ads, but they now have ads in-between videos, just like YouTube. But, instead of allowing you to use your adblock, which is completely fair in this situation, it seems they've actually banned users who supported them. I've never even been an user of that site, I've only commented there by disquis. But, by god, have they gone mad. I'm never using that site again. They even added the auto-next feature, which would make me use that site forever, haven't they gone completely insane.Ludicrous.

I've used Kissanime for about 4 years now and been through all sorts of different stages of the website. That time I'm refering to is the time without all the ads. Having ads here and there I can understand, you need to keep the site running, but to liter the site with popup ads everywhere is just unusable. So after this adpocalpyse I did what every other sensible user would do and started blocking the popups because these weren't just normal ads... these were basically porno ads everywhere. Some of which are very sketchy and make me question the ownership of the site. Now recently they started handing out permabans on ips to anyone that blocked ads without warning. When people went to complain about it they were ignored and kicked on their discord. Now recently it appears I'm unbanned, but the situation still stands: the site is unusable with the type of ads on the site and this banning of users was just the ignition of the powder-filled keg which blew up this community.

So I've used KissAnime for several years, and it has always been an absolutely fantastic site for any Anime that I would watch. There are however a few problems with it thus far. Almost no one seem to know the Glory days of the site either, but now it has fallen into a ridiculous state

1: A large range of bans regarding users, for reasons such as pop-up blockers. - Even after disabling all my adblockers before entering the site, I still got banned.

2: The extremely annoying Captcha on literally every single video.
- This didn't even exist before something called "TakeDownYourHost.com" or something along the lines, came along a year or so ago. But ever since then, the captcha has terrorized the site. Note: After this event, ALL ads started to appear. KissAnime used to be free of ads.

3: The ads. Omlord the ads.
- Clicking a video by using 3 of the 5 usual launchers to watch content on the site, will open up an extra browser with a full-size ad on it. Others will open extra tabs. The ads are even literally 360 degrees around the video, 4 below, 2-4 above, 1 on every side. It does take up quite some space too, which no one on earth would click on anyway.

4: After the bans
- Even AFTER the permanent bans without ANY way of contacting support, the absolutely brainwashed administrators of the site decided that banning the IP of the user was a good idea. They try to advice you to use a different browser, which doesn't work btw, to continue watch the videos. The decision made to ban the ip of the device, makes it impossible to switch browsers. Perhaps contacting support will solve something, on a different device entirely of course, or so I hope. I haven't tried it yet, but I recommend doing the same.

5: There are better sites compared to the current state of KissAnime.
- The title say's it all. There are so many sites already that this shouldn't pose a problem. But it annoys me to the core that something this cancerous exists on a website. I hope that the site takes a different route entirely, back to what it used to be

didn't event warn me or anything, it simply redirected to a page informing me that i had been banned permanently, and adblock was turned off just like they usually ask on the page

I got banned for using a popup blocker.. what the heck??

They do not allow basic ad block and their servers are horrible

I went to login after being offline for a week, and you know what? I couldn't log in! And I went to change my password, so I did. Logged in once again with the recovery password and went to change it to what I want and it logged me out, now I'm logged in and every time I go to change it, it logs me out and makes me log in and it takes me to the same page 2 times over again before saying the recovery password and my new password DO NOT work. Kissanime has become trash, I will NEVER use it again.

Terrible, ad pop ups one after the other without even clicking on any ad.
I click play to watch a episode then another window opens with ads. It does it every time.
I would be happy to pay for membership minus the ad garbage.
I don't use it anymore. I would wait patiently and download from my favourite torrent site instead.

Downright Terribe! Not only do I have random ads open new tabs on my window even if I just click the scrollbar to move down but at least twice while watching an episode the whole thing just freezes and I have to refresh the entire page and it begins my episode over from the beginning.

But still yes, the biggest gripe I have is the ADS. WHAT IS WITH ALL THE ADS? If you maybe just charged a flat rate membership fee like CrunchyRoll, you wouldn't have to flood your site with ads to afford the damn thing. As I said, I can't even click the SCROLL BAR without a random add inviting itself in and opening a new tab! I don't even click on ADS and ADS STILL POP UP. WHY? STOP IT. Do you even read your own reviews? People are angry and this is a common complaint. Get rid of it or your site WILL go even further downhill.

I was told that Kissanime has gotten better and there is no lagging. Every time I play it it lags. It will lage five times and play for five minutes and repeat it. I know it's not just my computer because it does the same thing on my friends computer as well.

Autoplays continuous ads while watching episodes in a separate section on the page. Then the website overloads and slows my computer greatly. This is a terrible website for streaming.

Riddled with pop up ads that will open new tabs without permission, redirect the site and there's no quality control so plenty of the ads that you're forced to see have malware/viruses/etc that try to install onto your computer. But you gotta disable adblock to view anything!

These stupid asses don't even know why people use adblock- because of idiots like them.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m watching it on my phone but every time I watch a anime it always skip backwards every few minutes, it makes me very annoyed. There’s also way to many ads, pop ups and directs it makes it hard to go to the next episode. >:(

I've been using Kissanime for some time now to watch my favorite anime episodes that I can't watch due to not having cable. I've used it to watch Dragon Ball Super and Boku no hero, at that time I'd give it 4 stars, but not 5 because of the constant ads popping up. Recently, the website has changed, and now it's very confusing to navigate and find the anime version I want, so I bring it down to 3.

It would have been 5 stars if it weren't for the ads. I don't know about other people, but the ads I get are not always age appropriate. Also, when I press a video, it brings me to a bunch of other junk sites. If it weren't for my security software, I would have 10 viruses on my computer. However, all the shows are free and in HD so that makes up for the ads.

I would like to give kissanime a higher rating but whenever I watch a show it’ll play backwards every minute or so, which makes it impossible for me to watch an anime. I usually use my phone when using kissanime so it could just be my phone but I’m not sure, it’s just very frustrating for me.
