I like Kit a lot better than Mailchimp, my previous list software. Kit is easier to use, and their support is 8000x more responsive and helpful than Mailchimp’s. As my audience grows I still feel like... See more

Overall works well and I get a lot of subs. The service is very customizable but it can be easy to mess things up on the admin side if I'm not careful. However, I'm not sure there is a better solution. I do wish the price was a little lower but overall good service.
The Creator Network is Helping me Grow My Subscriber Base
I like the Creator Network for growing my subscriber base and connecting with other bloggers. The visual automations and templates are handy. I would appreciate a discussion with a Kit staff member to help me work through visual automations. Sometimes I find them confusing. I wish there was a search funtion for the rules instead of having to scroll down at the bottom to find the rule that was set in place 4 years ago.
Once I get the hang of things
Once I get the hang of things, I'm beginning to enjoy what I can handle. Still have a lot to learn and accomplish, but that's on me, nothing to do with Kit. Ahd Sam iis always patient with me ;)
A Frustrating Experience with an Unintuitive Platform
Kit.com: A Frustrating Experience with an Unintuitive Platform
When it comes to online tools for managing contacts, workflows, or content curation, efficiency and clarity are paramount. Unfortunately, my recent experience with Kit.com has been anything but smooth. From repeated verification loops to limitations on basic functions, the platform has proven extremely frustrating and, ultimately, unusable.
The core issues begin with the verification system. After submitting a single test email, the platform immediately requested additional checks. Each attempt to proceed was met with further verification questions, even though nothing on my end had changed. The process feels inconsistent and opaque, leaving users unsure whether approvals are handled by automated systems or manually by staff. The irregularity suggests manual intervention, but with no transparency, it’s impossible to know.
Another critical limitation is the contact export function. Kit.com only allows you to export 50 contacts at a time, with no option to “select all” or batch-process your data. For anyone managing a moderate to large contact list, this makes routine tasks unnecessarily tedious and time-consuming. Simple functions that are standard in other platforms feel cumbersome or half-built here.
The approval and workflow processes only exacerbate the frustration. At times, actions that were previously approved are suddenly halted, and the platform requests additional verification without explanation. The questions posed are occasionally reasonable but are applied inconsistently, leaving users baffled and unsure how to proceed.
Customer support does not alleviate these frustrations. Responses are slow, odd, and often fail to provide meaningful guidance. The support experience does little to clarify whether issues are systemic or user-specific, compounding the confusion.
Overall, Kit.com feels unpolished and ill-suited for anyone seeking a reliable, user-friendly solution. Tasks that should be straightforward—contact export, bulk actions, or standard approvals—become unnecessarily manual and opaque. After multiple attempts to navigate these barriers, I have decided to move on to a different provider.
For users who value intuitive systems, consistent workflow, and responsive support, Kit.com falls short. While the platform has potential, the current implementation is inefficient, opaque, and ultimately unusable for serious professional use.
Great design that is user-friendly
Great design that is user-friendly. Nice
Kit transformed my life!
Kit has enabled me to grow my platform from less than 2k to over 30k subs in less than 2 years. I’ve signed with an agent and am publishing a book! I know have income every month from digital sales and get hundreds of emails each week from my subscribers.
Lots of features for Creators and it's FREE!
I love that I have email templates, can send to one subscriber or all my subscribers. I also LOVE that my landing pages update in real time. So if I make a grammatical error, I don't have to resubmit the link, I just go in my backend, correct the error, and it updates automatically. You can see you analytics in real time, and there's so many features offered for free to allow you to build to a place where you may need the paid option. They also offer lots of tutorials for growth. It's INSANE! And all this for FREE.
Kit Makes Building & Sending Emails Feel Easy
Kit is easy to use, has wonderful customer service, and is constantly growing to fit the needs of their subscribers. The platform makes building and sending emails feel easy. very happy that I switched from my previous platform.
Great user experience
Great user experience. Love that the team are always improving Kit. Great support too.
Total waste of time
I just signed up today and spent about an hour and 45 minutes creating a broadcast newsletter that included 6 classes and 6 workshops with dates, times, photos and links to each offering and now it’s just gone. Poof. Like it never existed. I navigated to the settings to make a change and now the broadcast is not listed in the broadcast or drafts list and the only option is to start all over. Which I am not going to do. In this day and age, automatic saving of a draft and making it easy to access is a must have. If clicking off the broadcast to go to settings would delete all of my work, there should have been some sort of warning like there is during website creation. Total waste of my time.
Amazing platform
Company has a great support team.
The features are very useful and the interface is user-friendly.
Merry Christmas and Thank you!
Kit is best for me
I really like that so much is free in free plan! SO many subscribers, so many options (limited, but still) that others give ONLY in paid plans.
I'm happy that I chose Kit when I started sending email newsletter almost 3 years ago.
2+ years in, still very happy with it!
I have been using Kit for two years (since it was called ConvertKit). It's central for me to communicate with people who care about my poetry books. They are very responsive and always thinking about ways to empower creators (that's how they refer to those of us using the platform).
Best email marketing platform
I’ve been using Kit for 2 years and I love it. It offers so much more than other email marketing platforms and the team is so helpful and nice. You can sell products, set up paid newsletters, create unlimited landing pages and forms. And they also have recommendations which means other Kit creators can recommend you to their subscribers and vice versa. This can help you grow your lost faster. Just the other day, I got 2 new subscribers through recommendations. And they keep adding more and more features. Highly recommend them!
Huge fan (for a good reason)!
Huge fan (for a good reason)!
Kit is my go-to platform for email, commerce, and business growth in general. I recommend it every chance I get because I know of no other platform that offers all of the features creators and solopreneurs need.
Creator network is best benefit
We’ve been a Kit user for about 4 years for our wine travel agency. One unique aspect that has been very powerful for us is the Creator Network. We’ve formed some great business relationships that have driven revenue. I don’t know of any other email platform that offers this benefit, which is a major reason we keep renewing with Kit. That, plus its ease of use and ever growing features.
The platform is easy to follow
The platform is easy to follow, you can create landing pages, email sequences quickly. Everything is working well, the support is great! I recommend using Kit.
Intuitive and User Friendly
Kit is very intuitive and gives so many choices for segmenting, tagging and tailoring your email list to create maximum engagement with readers.
Moved from Mailchimp to Kit
Moved from Mailchimp to Kit, and couldn't be happier. It's simple and the way it's designed gets me to write more, schedule more, do more!! This is our first time launching a product via Kit as well and we're thrilled about the 0.6% transaction fees. Very happy with the migration, and have been writing more consistently to our community than we ever have!
