This product is excellent for enhancing the natural 4c curl pattern. For context, my hair doesn’t like protein nor too much coconut-based products and my ethnicity is from west Africa. My hair is dense but the individual strands are fine to medium, and this product doesn’t sit on my hair, it doesn’t leave a crusty feel and I do not get white flakes once dry (as opposed to when I use gels). A little goes a long way, and it works best after applying the Kinky Curly Knot Today.

Kinky Curly gel remains my top and best gel of all times! Every time there’s something new on the market and I try it, even if it is alright it never seems to reach the level/satisfying outcome of Kinky Curly gel on my kinky afro natural 4b - 4c hair! I just wish it was slightly cheaper because the 8 ounces jar doesn’t last long enough!

My hair loves this product - I have high porosity, that is a combination of 4b&c type hair and it's fine. It locks in the moisture and keep my hair soft.

I love this stuff!! Smells divine and works a treat on my waves. Creates a great cast using only a little product. It’s my favourite gel by far!!

I love this stuff, I have used it for years. I have fine 2b - 3c hair. I put a tiny amount of this under my styling gel, style then finish of when about 85% dry with another thin layer... love it and it smells amazing to.
