Poor quality and customer service

I liked the first pair I ordered, but in less than a year they developed a hole in the toe. I ordered a new pair, and in less than a year developed the same hole in the toe. I decided to give them another chance and they delivered my order to a different address that was listed on my credit card. Customer service refused to rectify the situation so I no longer recommend Kizik shoes.

Brutal Experience, Never Again!

I've order three pairs...all the same size in same style. Each one of them was cut different..all ran larger or smaller of the three. Therefore their quality control is out of control and non existent. Then throw in I never got one of the pairs when I bought two of them together...had to go through a nightmare dealing with customer service. Never again! Never trust apparel or shoe companies that rely on Social Media to advertise their stuff. Shoddy at best.

Never got shoes

I ordered shoes with expedited shipping, they were marked "ready to ship" within a day, but never got sent. Kizik promises a 24-48 hr shipping turnaround, so I contacted customer service, they made me wait until what would've been the delivery window had passed before I could ask for help. When they delivery window had passed, the shoes had still not even left their warehouse.

I had to fight to get a refund on my expedited shipping.

They placed a new order of the same shoes on my behalf, and they weren't going to expedite the shipping, but I eventually convinced them to.

Again, I got an order confirmation, waited 48 hours, and no shipment. I contacted them and never heard back (it's been 4 days now), BUT I just got an email saying my (free) order had been cancelled because they're out of stock.

So, two orders and two weeks later ("expedited shipping") I have received no shoes and no refund. Nobody that I've emailed with seems apologetic at all, which makes it even more frustrating.

This company sucks. Note to self to check TrustPilot before ordering from new places in the future!

There are Tacks embedded in the soles that eventually penetrate your feet.

Shoes performed adequately, comfortable enough, could easily step in them, lasted well enough. HOWEVER !!! There are tack's embedded in the soles that eventually work their way out into your feet. I have removed several and several more are appearing as the soles wear down. Whether a design "feature" or factory problem. They are there and do harm to your feet.

My favourite shoes ever!

After buying the first pair of Kizik shoes I have now bought 3 more! I live in Australia and the cost is nearly $200 so very expensive however I received a very good discount for the latest pair as I had purchased before. I have the canvas Irvine sneakers and the Prague leather sneakers I find the Irvine more comfortable but harder to keep the white canvas clean. I have since bought the blue Irvine and I love them! Being able to slip on these shoes is a ridiculous game changer but it has made these my absolute favourite shoes. Be very careful though about scam sites! There is a Kizik.com.au that looks legitimate but it is not!! Make sure you buy from the US site only. I am about to buy my 5th pair of shoes for a trip to Europe.

Because of a recent major back surgery

Because of a recent major back surgery, I was gifted a pair of your Kisek shoes. I haven’t been able to turn, twist, bend or bow and probably never will be able to do that. I’m 70 years old and have found putting your shoes on as one of my “joyful” experiences as I recover and try to move on with my life. I wear your shoes the minute I get out of bed. I have to walk outside for ten minutes twice a day as my doctor has ordered with my walker and your shoes help stabilize me, give me confidence and allow me a more normal life. Athens fabric is bad style, collects dirt to easily. 3 pairs of Athens in the past 18 months

I've purchased 3 pairs of Mens Athens kizik shoes. Two of them wore out in 18 months and im a retired 79 year old man.. the cloth on the top of the shoe does not stand up to normal wear. And no where does it ever say "you have to wear socks." The pair of white shoes are 5 months old. Simply driving my car the right shoe got all black on the left side by touching the brake pad. We washed, scrubbed with a number of mild to med.strength cleaners that cannot clean the shoe. Dont purchase any light color wjth the fabric used on the Athens model

Not at all comfortable

Stay away from Athens style if you want a comfortable footbed. I bought them thinking they would have good support. After having Hokas first, Kiziks were a letdown and it felt like walking on a pair of bricks. Returned to company.

Two orders, two delays, still no shoes

To be clear, I have not yet received the shoes themselves, and my review is based solely on my experience with customer service and their website. I am from the U.S. but I live in Egypt, and I am in the eighth month of a pretty painful pregnancy. It is physically quite difficult to put on my regular shoes, and I have been trying to find a solution to this problem. The shoes were recommended on a pregnancy app I use- "What to Expect" and they have good reviews online, so I thought I would take a look. I was encouraged by the statements on the website that say that orders, including international orders, ship within 24-48 hours of receipt (during the work week). So I ordered over President's Day weekend, with the knowledge that with the Monday holiday that would mean the shoes would be shipped by the end of the day on Wednesday. By Thursday of that week they still had not shipped, and I reached out to understand why. In the email response I was told that there was a delay due to the holiday weekend, but I was not given any information on when the shoes would ship. After a couple of days of back and forth, I canceled that order. Because I hoped this was a one-time issue, I re-ordered the shoes the following weekend, which was not a holiday weekend. It is now Thursday and the shoes have not yet shipped. I reached out to customer service and was told that the representative was going to reach out to her supervisor, but again given no kind of timeline or other information. Meanwhile I am in pain and appear to have wasted a lot of money. The shoes may turn out to be a great investment, but the company itself is quite unprofessional in my opinion. In addition to these issues, I do not like that the emails and certain parts of the website have multiple grammatical errors.

I was very excited to try Kizik's…

I was very excited to try Kizik's however, when I received the Venice, color Black on 2/20/23, I could tell that one of the shoes appeared to have been worn. There was a spot on the top, side and bottom. Requesting a refund, no exchange needed.

Complicated

Well…my order was never despatched. When I complained, the reaction was immediate: a new order was set up. Again, this was not despatched, so I complained again, and asked for a refund.
The reaction was immediate and friendly, and the money was instantly refunded.
I’m just wondering… do they want to sell their shoes?

Most comfortable sneaker EVER

I purchased my first pair of Kizik Irvine sneakers and was elated with both the comfort and convenience. I am on my feet all day and it was wonderful that my feet did not hurt at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend them and will be buying them again. I wish more colors were available.

I bought a Kizik gift card 5 days…

I bought a Kizik gift card 5 days before Christmas for my daughter. They wouldn't send it to her, it had to go to me to forward. It never materialized in my inbox. On the day after Christmas I contacted customer service and was told they would re-send my gift card. Nothing but their advertising emails came to my inbox. Next day I called and found they were closed for 5 days. I had nothing for a present even 5 days after Christmas. They should have followed up more carefully. They don't want your business. PayPal refunded me instantly.

Thieves and Liars

Have 3 pair. Bought one pair in June 2023; fabric above the heel has worn off in less than a year and I don't wear them that much. Kizik would not stand behind their product. Cheap quality, stupid expensive, no decent customer support. STAY AWAY.

Massive quality control issues

Quality control and customer service issues. My insole completely deteriorated after six months of wear. Completely worn through while the rest of the shoe is fine. Customer service is in the Philippines and could not care less, just providing canned answer templates. Marketing gimmick, poor quality.

I loved the color and how easy it is to…

I loved the color and how easy it is to slip in and out of these, and also how they fit my relatively wide feet. However, I may be one of those people who just can't wear any shoes and not everyday. My lower back and feet started to hurt after longer walks and the shoes became more and more looser no matter how tight I tied the laces.

I won't be buying them again, not for the price, shipping and import I had to pay to have them delivered to Japan.

Edit: I forgot to mention that they were also very slippery on wet surfaces. Oh and apparently they can't delete your account. 🤔
