Jason is probably the most pleasant and knowledgable salesman I have ever come accross having dealt with a large number AV stores..
You can be certain that if you present him with a reasonable price to beat he will be it.
Also very tentative to your needs during and after the sale.
I live in Adelaide so I buy over the phone after having deligently decided on the AV product.
I am a Home Theatre hobbyist and audiophile and Klapp have won a lot of my business over the years because their staff especially Jason are no nonsence and take a genuine interest in their customers needs.

From my enquiries on the 'phone, I received helpful and detailed information from the owner and staff members regarding an Audio Technica turntable,a Onkyo Intergrated amplifier and Acustic Energy bookshelf speakers. With that info, I was able to order online. The website is easy to navigate. The items arrived promptly. In setting up the equipment, I found the manuals were excellent with detailed procedures to follow. I've now played some of my 'old' LP's from the 60's and 70's and the sound is clear and superb! And I've just bought three LP's. Just to emphasise the point, I'm well pleased with everything about Klapp A/V and the staff.Cheers.

For context, I'm probably an Audio Enthusiast boarding on Audiophile. The preferred format of music, for me, is Vinyl with a the philosophy is to spend as much as I can afford where the diamond brushes the vinyl. That way what is good coming in a fantastic coming out.

Also a big Ortofon fanboy. The Ortofon Mono-A and (Anna-)Diamond are *not* easy to get in the Australian market.

I believe this is where Klapp excels; They know who to speak with; they know how to set expectation and they know how to price an item (in the tug-o-war between supplier and client). As for the Mono-A, it stands alone (not because it's mono :)) but so far in the break in period, the Mono-A has brought Mr. Dylan (his early Mono set) into house. The waving flow of his cracking voice and the piercing melody of the harmonic are made real. Dynamics as flawless as I can hear. Next it's the Stones in Mono :)
