Hi Natasha,
Instead of trying in other words to explain the situation from our point of view, I will instead just paste the answer that we have given you already.
We're very sorry to hear that you did have a negative experience at our store. Please allow us to elaborate some of your comments, since we do not agree with all of them.
Firstly, you said that we shouted at your children. We did ask your children to calm down, since they were very busy and the children weren't even listening to you asking them to stop. It is ofcourse easy to suggest that this is ridiculous, but we think it is a bit weird if a mother is not looking after her own children when they are in a building that isn't theirs. Exactly because of this, we thought it would be appropriate to address your children directly.
Secondly, regarding your cage - it was far too small. The minimal size of a cage for dwarf hamsters we advise is 60x40cm. You had a cage that measured 40x30cm. This is not a 10cm difference and is far too small. You then claimed that we forced you to buy a cage from our store, but this is not true either. We never force visitors to buy a cage from us and we are always very happy to receive them another time if they want to buy a cage somewhere else. In addition, we like to point out that when someone books an appointment with us, we refer them to licg.nl, where they can read more about getting pets. As is clearly said in the confirmation mail, we expect visitors to be aware of minimal sizes for cages. The fact that you were not aware, only tells us that you did not really care about informing yourself.
To conclude, obviously, the cages we keep hamsters in during opening hours, aren't their usual cages. These are only used when we are receiving visitors. When we are closed, the hamsters return to their own (ofcourse appropriate) cages.
Best regards,
