Not worth the money!

I asked for and received two boxes as gifts. One was for a baby and the other for a boy. The babies box contained 3 balls of yarn priced at around £2.50 a ball and a pattern costing around £2.50 as well so probably a total cost of £10. There were some 'extras' such as sweets but nowhere near the price paid for the box. I finished the little dress which needed some buttons. No buttons in the box which meant I couldn't even finish the item! The second box contained 4 balls of yarn priced at around £2 a ball and a pattern costing around £2.50 making a total cost of around £10.50. Again there was a few 'extras' of sweets. Once I had finished knitting the jacket I came to add the buttons in order to finish it off, only to find there was only 6 when the pattern clearly says 7 are needed! I couldn't find a button to match so had to buy 7 more. I have tried contacting them on a number of occasions but have received no reply. These boxes are a total rip off and people would be much better off buying the yarn and pattern separately and saving themselves over half the amount charged for the boxes.

Fantastic knitting boxes

Signed up for my mum and she absolutely loves the monthly knitting boxes that arrive. She makes such beautiful garments from them and the gifts are an added bonus!

Brilliant company!!

Absolutely love Knit in a Box! Great option of you want a monthly subscription or just a one off box here & there. Boxes are always quick to arrive & beautifully presented! Always more than enough yarn for the pattern that comes with it & lovely little surprise gifts inside too. There’s a Facebook group who are so helpful & the admin are always really quick to assist people with anything. This is great value for money!
