I love their design esthetic and patterns. The quality of yarn is amazing for the price. However, my last order was missing three balls of yarn. Contacted customer service and they said they would resend but they did not. I get that in this era of scamming that they might be skeptical but at the end of the day, this was their error. I will not be ordering from them directly again.

The patterns are not well translated. Very hard to understand as they use terms that we don’t use in my language. Confusing.

I cannot recommend the patterns, they are very expensive and all one receives for more than 6 euros per pattern is a download! For that price I could have bought several pattern magazines with loads of different knitting patterns. Most knitters will make notes on patterns as they follow them, trying to do that on a mobile phone is not possible. The pattern instructions are also not easy to follow and are not written in the style one finds in pattern magazines. I had bought the wool and patterns for my mum as a gift, she knits a lot and follows patterns often. The wool seems nice but it's a shame that my request for a printed pattern was declined due to environmental consciousness..... More than 6 euros for a download!!!

If you are looking for good customer service, go elsewhere. I sent them an email 5 business days ago. Received no response.

Had an email to say order being prepared for shipping 12 days ago, then nothing further and no response to email. I wouldn’t risk it if I were you.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced! Asked them to change the adress on my package or cancel my order as I entered the wrong adress, as it says to contact them directly to cancel orders ect. and I got no response. Instead I got the comfirmation email that the items got shipped out. Almost a week has passed since and I still haven't received an answer even though their website states they will respond within 1-2 days. How can you charge this much for yarn and then have SHIT customer service??

From the moment I entered the store, I was enveloped in a warm, inviting atmosphere filled with vibrant yarns of all textures and colors. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic, always eager to offer tips and advice for my next project. I particularly appreciated their extensive selection of sustainable yarns, which made it easy to create beautiful pieces while being environmentally conscious.

I attended one of their workshops on advanced knitting techniques, and it was an absolute game-changer! The instructor was patient and encouraging, and I left with newfound skills and a beautiful cowl that I’m proud to show off. The community aspect is just as impressive; I met several fellow knitters and even joined a weekly knitting circle that has since become one of my favorite activities.

Very poorly written patterns, if you didn’t know what you were doing you’d have no chance of completing the pattern I bought.
I wouldn’t buy another pattern from this company.
There’s a lot of irrelevant nonsense included in the pattern which is nothing more than confusing.

The yarn is great quality and arrived quickly after I ordered. There was an issue with my original shipment, only 4 of the 7 skeins I ordered were in the package. I reached out to Knitting for Olive right away and they responded quickly. Carla sent my other 3 skeins right away and without issue. I appreciated making it right so quickly and easily! I would happily order from this company again.

Both its beautiful yarn, which always produces excellent results with sweaters/garments, and its ethical welfare approach to the animals providing the raw materials. One of the reasons I use their yarn.
Their communications are always prompt, very warm and friendly. I would give Knitting for Olive ten stars if possible.
Their patterns are easy to follow and complete - so many lovely comments when I wear one of their designs or I gift items I have made.
Special mention to Sus and Carla who were so very helpful with a recent problem with our Royal mail in Uk. Thank you!

The patterns are beautiful but the instructions are not well carried out and clearly not thought through. I’ve had to improvide with a few patterns where the instructions made no sense at all..

I have ordered from knitting for olive 3 times so far, and have appreciated the vast selection of colors, quality of the yarn, ethical sourcing, and quick delivery every time. The yarns may be on the pricier side, but this is true for most all natural yarns.
Their soft silk mohair knits nicely both on its own and as second strand with other yarns (including of other brands, including pre-yarns), as it allows for close color matches across a wide range of shades.

I am giving only one star because of the quality of the patterns they sell. You should be quite experienced to understand the patterns. I sent them an email with a question regarding one pattern and did not even get a reply. They have a lot to learn from PetiteKnit! They are about the same price, but the quality are very different.
